  1. Yeah I always find that funny. It's like I tell a lot of people (which most of us know). It's not about the price of the ticket, but rather the performance. Nobody minds putting money out when the team is a winner (Capitals prove that each year now), but let them be a loser and nobody will (Redskins). I do understand in a way, don't get me wrong, nobody wants to pay big $$$ for a crap performance, but I hate the excuses made.

  2. Yeah I hear you on that crunch. I'm going to be a first year holder this year and chose sidelines / payed for it. Not that I expect to be on the 50 immediately or anything like that, but putting me basically in the back corner or something which qualifies as a 'sideline' to them is a joke (not that that's where I've been put, but I expect it).

  3. I'd love to the team to get back into D.C, don't get me wrong (and I have season tickets), but I think we all stand together on the whole PSL thing would be the end to us all (or most of us) and certainly as you said psu, the tailgating space / parking spaces would be cut in half probably. Just isn't any land (at least where we can build).

Being Fedex is about 10min from RFK, I can't complain too much.

  4. Haha alright, I will keep that in mind. I definitely want to be on the home side. I know how the sun gets, and though I like it in the winter, I noticed when sitting on the home side, the fans there seemed to be more into it than the away side, don't know why. Of course I naturally don't care, cause being there is what matters, but yeah I'll give them a call. My ticket rep (or who I assume is it, being when I asked questions before she always responded back via email) is real nice, so maybe I'll try the email and if nothing then call up.

  5. Hahaha. I just figured it could be done online like everything else today. Isn't emailing the ticket office technically talking to a live person ;) Either way I'll call up, what exactly should I be saying? I paid immediately on time and see if I can get closest to the 50 as I can?

  6. I think it is just luck of the draw and how they handle the end zone upgrades, which is a real monkey wrench for you. Who knows where they will or will have to move those folks. Based onseat cost, they should all go to seats 16-28; but some may squawk about being so high compared to their end zone seats.

It also depends on where you were on the waiting list and how soon you paid before everyone else. All you can really do is make sure your seat preference is noted on your account. If you have not asked a TO agent to put between 30-50 on your account, you best do so before the phone lines close today.

The thing is, I paid for rows 1-15, I did the math / parking pass and it comes out to the price it should. Where do I note online where I want to sit?

  7. Sonny, RFKFedex, I know you and some others might be able to give me an answer, maybe not, even a guess would be welcomed at this point. Being this is my first year as a season ticket holder - and I chose Sidelines Rows 1-15 (paid immediately when I got the notice, if that matters due to the order they hand them out), what are the odds I'll be between the 30-50?

  8. Yes, I had the option of choosing my seats in the upper endzone or waiting for the best available in teh upper enzone... they offered me Section 15, Row 22, so I took that.. figured row 22 to start off wasn't bad.... but now those seats are clearly gone... I called and put a preference to be moved towards the Redskins sideline when I get moved... we'll see if that happens

Ahhhh okay. I never was given a section or row for mine. All I was able to do was choose UL sidelines or endzone and then rows 1-15 or 16-29 in each. Take a look at what FFEMT said, I have four tickets so his would do me no good, but might want to call up and see if you can grab them!

  9. I'm a new season ticket holder.. not sure if that matters, but I still cannot see my seats as well.

You are in the same boat as me. Till all the upgrades are done, we won't be seeing anything. Unless the TO does some weird routine.

  10. Yeah I've heard that the first couple of rows can be nice, but once you get behind those pillars they aren't much fun. I wouldn't mind missing the high point of a kickoff or deep pass for that price, let alone with how wild it gets. Never knew there were metal floors in there.

  11. I remember getting to a game late one year, believe it was the Giants in 07 (brother and his woman make it their duty to never be on time). When going by 'The Cave' it was noisy as hell, I mean completely deafning, never heard anything like it before in that stadium - and that counts being there for other games when it's gotten wild. I may sit in the UL, but it still gets noisy, however it didn't compare to down there.
