  1. Seems like this crew has put in the work and is making purposeful moves. It should be pretty clear by now that this recalibration is intended to put a "professional" product out there and build on that through the acquisition of talent through the draft.

  2. Smart signing. At the very least you get a veteran presence who can help lead on offense. I don't know if they are expecting a Vernon Davis like production out of him, but it will be better than Logan. I have no proof, but I just got the sense that Logan was a bit of contrarian and one of the dudes who was whining about EB's aggressive approach to coaching.

I love the fact that NOBODY has a clue what the FO guys are up to with respect to draft strategy and free agency. No leaks, no rumors out there to damage player values or negotiation leverage. Good poker face and professionalism. Even the Kiem's and Finnlay's on the beat haven't a clue what is next.

  3. It seems like it would be pretty hard for the NFL to police what takes place in these interviews.

I think it is safe to assume that an agreement has already been made between the teams and the candidates, and both parties are simply waiting for the arbitrary "no tampering" period to pass before making everything official.

Allen gets you at least a 2nd round and maybe more a 4th or a 5th and you take that and add his replacement. And some OL help. And we get younger even though he is only 28 but 28 is on the downward side of the hill in the NFL, get the value while you can.

This is assuming that Allen is viewed as added value over the currently rostered player or draft pick any team willing offer up a 2nd. Coming off a so so year where he allowed his emotions to get the better of him whilst playing for a dumpster fire turned controlled burn, might have diminished his perceived value.

i love Allen but his antics this year were stupid and petty, not that of a team leader, FFS the finish line was in clear view. If I can see this as a homer fanboy so does everyone else

    Free agents too

And to talk ,,,,S..... on X or Tweeter or whatever its called.

Magic is a winner from the old school, and I think it's great that he calls it like he sees it. The same way we do except he has an audience. I doubt many of the players take it personally, they too know the ineptitude of this staff. At least Magic is calling it out

  6. The notion of "tanking" is pointless. the team we played yesterday was tanking we are just far superior at the suck. Take that NY !

I think it is hard to embrace that mentality in the NFL. Players are going to play hard and not put garbage on tape and not going hard can get you hurt. So we need to have incompetent fools running things and that we have in spades

  7. To the loyal that remain...over the coming weeks and months we intend to revitalize this once great organization, that means major changes will be coming.  Some of your favorite player & coaches will be on their way out as we bring in new people and talent. What you witnessed today at FEDEX was an absolute abomination,  barely could be considered football.  I'm sorry we didn't realize the stink had become so soaked into everything that is associated with this franchise.

Fortunately it dosen't require a multi-year process to build a winner in todays NFL. We are on it and better days are to come

  8. A 2024 third rounder plus some extra later round picks would be the starting point for Sweat. When he walks via free agency, we likely get a 2025 3rd round comp pick. Not the same thing but someone will give it up.

Hopefully we hang on to Young.  He is finally on the field and playing as advertised when he was drafted, Getting him inked on a long-term deal should be the first priority of our new administration.

Just imagine coming in as the new DC in 2024 and both of these guys are killing it elsewhere.

Not unlike the fan experience where we see everyone from the Shanahan experience having success league wide.

In years past it would be a given that they would F this up royally, and get pantsed by the 9ers or Iggles. Today maybe not so much
