I dont really see either of those contracts being big enough to really be worried about. (BSJ and DFoe) Curl I could see being a larger contract, but still not enough to forgo getting a talent like Ekeler.

That depends on the contract for me. With Howell on such a cheap contract, we can afford a little extra at places like RB.

Ok. I like the thought. But I would also like to grab a guy with high upside early and let him start learning. It seems that we keep throwing crumbs at the LB position when we need a serious upgrade.

Would he take a 4/40 deal or is he likely looking for more? Is he looking for a deal like McCaffrey? 4/64? That would be too much for me.

That is the type of contract we should be looking at for LB. We missed one here IMO.

I think he will never see that level of play again. He will look very much closer to the 2021 version more often than not.

Having to pay a top 15 qb top 5 money is not good. That is what the Eagles are going to have with Hurts. He will regress hard this season.

Dont expect a signing outside the current roster until this evening at the earliest. More likely tomorrow or Wednesday.

How do you see that fitting with Gibby and BRob? And where do you see him being picked? I am interested in a mid-late round RB that can complement what we have. I think McKissic is done. Too many dangerous injuries for him to keep playing football. We will need that change of pace guy to replace him.
