Yeah, we won't have  a QB and we won't have enough talent before we hamstring ourselves with a ridiculously expensive DL. But we'll be able to look back and say "hey, remember that season we went 7-9 and lost a playoff game? That's the reason we're a powerhouse team now"

Give me  winning attitude any day over constant losing so we can hope to find our franchise QB.    I never said 7-9 was the goal either.  7-9 happened last year without a QB.  Give me a competent QB and I'll roll the dice with that.

A lot of people fail to realize that in that snippet of Darnold incompletions he was working on the "closed eyes technique" which when perfected doesn't give DBs a pre throw indication of where the ball will be thrown. Its been used successfully for some years now in the major European football leagues.

    Sergio approves of this method.

The top D-Lineman in the game and maybe the best overall player in the NFL; Aaron Donald, has 0 Superbowls wins. (0-1)

If you go down the top edge rushers, you'll find maybe a Superbowl here or there. Maybe. (Mack = 0, Bosa Bros = 0, Watt Bros = 0, Myles Garrett = 0, Chandler Jones = 0, Za'Darius Smith = 0, Danielle Hunter = 0, etc)

And not saying Barrett/JPP or Jones/Clark are some scrubs, but they're in the Superbowl obviously because of their QBs.

I'm not advocating trading Chase Young, or any of our D-Line, but if you're not winning Superbowls in this era without a QB.

I'm not saying that Chase is the next LT or Ray Lewis but I wonder if the Giants or Ravens would have even entertained the thought of trading either one of them for a potential franchise QB, especially after their first year.

Agree completely that it wouldnt affect Rivera and the FO, but it does affect fan sentiment.  And theres a certain little dwarfy douche that IS persuaded by general buzz and fan opinion and has a tendency to get involved with decisions about the QB.

Actually thats 5D chess lol.  Its probably a reach but if Jay was the one to initiate with 106.7 then its suddenly very plausible.

    He's already sneaking about it.....

Them having an agenda is irrelevant. All the WaPo is doing is investigative reporting, having an agenda doesn't make it all less true, an agenda just makes it easier shine a bright light on the truth.

Dan's response was a huge mistake. It did not read like a person that was sympathetic towards his ex employee. He essentially denied everything and he might as well have said she was full of ****.

I honestly don't even think this is the end of it. If Dan doesn't tap out and just continues to deny, I have a feeling it will anger some more of his ex employees who feel he's involved.

I tend to disagree about news agencies today's not having an agenda.   All news seems to be agenda driven nowadays.

If the facts support their agenda then great but too many times people see things that aren't there only because they want to see them.

Pretty sure most places have addressed that loophole.

-Find the washington post article headline you wish to read.  Anyone can access their main page without opening the article.

-Google the exact article name including washington post

-Open article link directly bypassing their logon main page and authentication

Used to work for me at least.  Haven't tried it in a while though.

Anybody paying attention knew he had no control of anything when DJax gave him a purple Nurple.  Can you IMAGINE anybody doing that to Bill Bellichick? Bill Parcels?  Joe Gibbs?  Ron Rivera?  If a player tried to do that to Ron, Ron would probably tackle them, take their helmet and beat them with it to prove a point.  (Let's not forget, Ron was part of one of the toughest defenses in the history of the league with the Bears.)

Hell yeah, I remember that crap.  Gruden giggled like a girl.  Pissed me off so much I wanted to kick in the TV.

The WP writer above seems to think Kerrigan will be the starter, I'm not so foolish then am I eh? Kerrigan will dominate next year, as could Sweat and Young, regardless of who starts. Same can be said in the Allen,  Ioannidis, Payne debate.

My guess is that our defense becomes competent with our new competent coaches.  Guys like Payne and Allen will perform like expectations regardless of getting Chase or not.  With Chase and our competent coaches we will be dominant.  Just my 2 cents but I'm starting to get a gut feeling about it.  I'll need to forget that feeling though on fantasy draft night otherwise I'll get laughed at when I take the Redskins DEF early.

At least this year the organization had the fortitude and honesty to admit what had been clear to all of us for several years -- that there was no season ticket waiting list.

I bet Dan and Bruce wish that wasn't admitted.  Probably the main reason the marketing guys were dumped.

Early thoughts on any of you guys renewing or not?  I am on the fence like I was after the GMSM debacle.  Even more on the fence if they keep this current program where I can buy tickets to specific games.

I didn't renew last year for all the obvious reasons and was so glad we did especially near the end of the season.

They would have to get rid of Bruce first before I would even entertain being a ticket holder again.

If prices dip to ridiculous levels and I can not go, I will give my tickets to my dog sitter's family or Big Brothers/Big Sisters.

We don't have tix anymore but if we still did then yes, I would rather give them to a friend, family, or donate them before I get low balled by some buyer.

I think for the away fan it is different.  I used to do that for away games but i realized its so easy to do that for games not at Fedex too.  i got row 4 at cowboys stadium for 60 bucks the day before teh game on stub hub.  if i waited day of, i would have paid peanuts

You never would have gotten my tix for peanuts. I would rather eat them than give them away for next to nothing.  Not worth my time for peanuts.
