  1. OTA's are part of the business network pack? Didn't realize that, that is pretty ****ty, as OTA's were always available for all STH. I always looked forward to going to those.
  2. Has anyone looked at the prices for extra tickets that went on sale tonight? Why are they cheaper than what we paid for season tickets? For instance the club seats next to my section for the home opener are selling for $142 each.
  3. Had a lot of fun being at the Amusement park, but short of a few photos, it was really something I could have just done on my own as a family trip. We went down Friday night and stayed at a hotel 1 mile from the park. Got to the park right went it opened, managed to get on the Pantheon before the line got crazy (2nd train of the day). The weather held up pretty well, a few quick 5 minute sprinkles throughout the day but nothing major. I think the weather helped with crowds as I didn't think it was that crowded. At noon they had lunch at the picnic area (though it wasn't just Washington Commander folks) was basically anyone who bought a lunch pass. I thought that was pretty cheesy, they should have at least reserved it. Food was hot dogs, (Chili/cheese available), chicken fingers, salad and fountain sodas. Cup cakes for dessert. They had Brian Mitchell, Fred Smooth and Rocky McIntosh (didn't know this guy) at lunch taking photos with people. It wasn't really much of a "Washington Commanders" event. I felt they missed an opportunity to make it a bit more "Washington Gold" even if it was just making the PICNIC area private. I also feel like they should have paid for parking. $30/$40/$50 (depending on where you parked) they should have at least paid for the cheapo parking.
  4. I still don't understand why they did this, why have 3 types of STHs? I feel like we all should deserve to go to every event. To me this feels like cheaping out. As for the Private shopping event. Unless the discount is like 50% its cheaper to buy the same stuff on Fanatics or ShopNFL with a coupon. When I had season tickets to the short lived DC Defenders all STH got 25% (or maybe it was 30%) off merchandise online and at the games all the time. Even the Caps give you 20% off. 15% from the WFT/Commanders/Redskins is pathetic.
  5. Happy to report my request for a 3rd pass to Busch Gardens was granted. We are making a family weekend of it. Going to drive down Friday night, stay at a hotel near the park, then we are going to spend the night at the hotel and maybe check out Williamsburg or Jamestown on Sunday.
  6. Anyone who picked the Friends & Family option for their Season tickets, did you get the Busch Gardens email today. I find it interesting it says, "RSVP below to join us at Busch Gardens on May 7th. Each Gold Member is allotted up to one (1) ticket per season ticket seat. Additional ticket requests cannot be guaranteed." Yet, they marketed the family option when you selected as a STH as fun events for the whole family. I can't imagine they think every person who has Season tickets bought the exact number as in in their family.
  7. They might have got 10k new STH but they probably also lost 10k STH. The only 2 reasons they may have gotten so many this year is the insane price drop on the club level (+ parking inclusion + no contracts) as well as probably a lot of folks wanted to be here for the inaugural year of the re-branding. I'm saying this as a STH of 13 years.
  8. ***rant on*** Anyone met Dave Baldwin the new Chief Ticketing Officer at the Commanders? Not sure what this guys deal is but he has absolutely no customer service skills. I met him at the Select A Seat Day. We talked for a few minutes, then he gave me his card and told me to give him a call to chat in more detail. I've left him 3 voicemails and sent 3 emails over the course of the last month and he hasn't bothered to respond or even acknowledge any of them. I did finally get a call from the Director of Ticket sales last week, but its ridiculous he can't take the time to contact me after he even told me to call him. You can't be in a role such as ticket sales when you can't even communicate with the customer. ***rant off***
  9. I used to do this with parking since I never went to the first 2 pre-season games. Next season we only have 1 pre-season game, so 1 extra regular season game.
  10. Ok what the hell. so those 2 seats are mine first row in between the green seats and none of those other ones were available when I went on Saturday. So they just all mysteriously opened up around me?
  11. I went to 1 game last year in the Club level and from a food perspective, they had wraps, nachos, chicken fingers and fries, chips, cookies, hotdogs and a few other random things as well as Soda, water and Gatorade. Sometimes there was a line but was nothing like the lines on the lower or upper concourse.
  12. They asked us if we wanted to move our parking but we are in the RedZone and I wanted to keep that. Honestly I think its the best lot. The walk is barely anything. The spots are 3x a normal size. No Foot Traffic leaving the stadium so you don't have to worry about constantly being stopped so people can cross the roads. The lot is never crowded and its opens 1 hour before the other lots.
  13. Hmm not sure if its for this year for permanently. Luckily there is no contracts anymore so if after this year they remove it we can always move.
  14. OK bit the bullet and moved to the Club level. I'm a sucker. But when you factor in the free parking and free food it comes close to what I paid in the LL. We got 308 Row 1.
  15. I feel like I'm sitting through a Time Share presentation..... all this dude is talking shout are all the premium seats.
  16. They seem to really be pushing Club seats for next season. Just got an email from my rep with the following: Please let me know via email reply (*even if you already have shared with me your intent before) if you are considering any of the below options and ideally what exactly you are looking for seat location wise: Adding on Seats: (location and # of seats) Upgrading Seats to the Club: (location if known) Relocating Seats: (ideal seat locations
  17. Just got mine. 11am on Sat. Had tickets for 13 or 14 years depending if they count the OV seats.
  18. Oh duh. I just read Saturday. Lol didn't see the 26th.
  19. Interesting because normally the do the new STH last, though nothing surprises me anymore by this team.
  20. Hmm when did you get your time? Haven't seen any emails today.
  21. I actually think the Redzone lot is the best lot. Spaces are huge and no foot traffic causing delays leaving the stadium.
  22. My only issue with doing this way is in the past, you could continuously look throughout the day. Now you sort of have to decide quickly while you at there. The Capitals used to do in person Select a Seat and it sucked.

  24. I bought a parking ticket, but didn't feel well by the time I got home from work. Also it was raining and the temperature was supposed to drop below freezing so we decided not the trek through rush hour traffic to the stadium. I did see a few post of pissed off folks saying they ran out of swag bags after Washington touted multiple times they would have a bag for everyone who attended.
  25. Weird so many people didn't get the email....
