So we’ve brought in Wiley and Yankoff.

Love that he'll only be 22 at the start of the season. He could be a real good one in a year or two.
I see an instant impact player. Along side Ertz we’ve got a nice 1-2 blend now.

Basked on what Peters said on that call, Magee was clearly our primary target with this pick and we’ve been fortunate to land him having sat out the 4th round.

Another OT must be on the to do list.

I heard that he ran routes at Michigan's proday and looked crisper than their starting receivers. He'd call out the routes during games of the opposing offense.
Peters said that. They watched his pro day, was the most impressive player on defence, then flipped to run routes and was the best at that

About time @Koolblue13 got Hartman into the thread title.

How does a 6-1 200 corner who runs a 3.3 and has decent to food film manage to go undrafted?
Right, a 3.3 and food film……

It is not unfair to say Lucas is better than all three at this point
We have to pray Leno can heal up and wants to come back here
Yeah, I think this is about right. I do reckon Coleman has been drafted to play LT. Not saying that is or isn’t plausible, but that’s the plan. I think they take a look at him - rookie camp ? maybe Lucas takes early season reps, or they have Leno as the potential emergency pick up. Either way, Coleman will get the opportunity I say.
RT is a concern too. Perhaps Lucas ends up RT. I’d sure feel happier with another vet OT on the books.

Sounds like he was on a promise to go to
Pittsburgh at 51 and we did them a pick earlier.

77-79 C+
73-76 C72-70 C-
65-69 D
64 and below F
Disagree.
Also, for example Sinnott is a great prospect. Love the potential. But he would never be 100% because he was consensus 3rd rounder. So that would weight down.
Overall an A- draft.

Nah, the best end of 80% is never that.
A- territory.

I think we might consider Micheal Gallup. Never really came back from the injury, but we need either a stud #1 or #2 brought in, or we roll by adding another experience vet in the #3 role. There are several out there still.
Aiyuk clearly the dream in my book too.

Got to be honest…I’d also still consider a WR move. I think Jahan is currently a #3 in my opinion. We’ve drafted WR #4. We are incredibly reliant on Terry.
There are a ton of options still available. I’m looking for this aggressive recruitment approach to continue into camp…

When Peters called him up, he said to him, ‘you’re a bad dude’

We absolutely need another OT brought in. I do like the Coleman pick. I’d be looking in the vet market for another. Wonder if we see some cuts following the mass of round 1/2 rookies just taken.

The media team is posting YouTube clips of the various picks/pre selection phone calls etc. They’re a fun watch, would be good posted in here, I’m just not clever enough to do it….

Athletic freaks is a common theme in many of our picks, some of the UDFA too.
They sure what to build a wrecking crew on defense.
-
Defense heavy draft is quite surprising IMO
Got to think we see a couple of offensive moves post draft…..

So we took the guy we brought in…. Finally….

I think you are probably right, however the passing over of DeJean at #40 because we were clearly focused on Sainristil make me slightly question that logic.
You have to assume we didn’t have a first round grade on DeJean, or had other concerns. I know we got good trade value, but imagine if we hadn’t got Sainristil at #50 once that CB run started.
