Yeah, you're right about Reyes. Can't tell you how many times I've heard the guy's name in trade talks. Can't believe the Jays were dumb enough to take him off our hands. I wouldn't get too excited about Alex though. Pretty sure he won't keep up the HR thing. He's now gonna be playing in a pitcher's park. And he's also considerably older than Escobar. That, more than anything, is probably why im not jumping up and down over this deal. With that said, I still think it was a good move. And one that had to be made. Yunel had enough time to get his act together. A change of scenery will probably do him well. He needs to mature. Yeah, this is another reason im leary of this deal. But as I said above, it still had to be made. One can only hope. That was one of the dumber decisions of all time. Selig is such a joke.

Tim Hudson was an incredible hitter at Auburn. Some of the numbers he put up were mind-boggling. And he's still a pretty decent hitter in MLB, as pitchers go.

I understand what you're saying (sort of). I even came on after the Jackson no-hitter and said it was probably the worst one ever thrown (because of the 8 walks). So, we're kind of on the same page. I was joking about the above comment.

Heard on the radio coming home tonite that the Rays have actually been no-hit THREE times in the last calendar year! To be fair though, the one tonite by Jackson has to be the worst no-hitter ever thrown. 8 walks and a hit batsmen? LOL He didn't really give them a CHANCE to hit! Btw, the Rays had 9 LOB.

I would be ok with this. Would rather have him than Pendleton. Yost would probably be my first choice though. But he's done a good job so far with KC. He will probably get extended.

Rangers will never be considered greater than the Braves until they win something. This is a fluke, I think. Still think the Angels probably end up winning that division. Especially if they have more games with the Dodgers.

Loading the bases down? That doesn't even make sense. But oftentimes, if the bases are loaded, and the pitcher is coming up, there is likely to be a pinch-hitter. This is especially true later on in the game. And no pitcher tries to "sacrifice" with the bases loaded. Have you ever even watched baseball before?

Horrible idea. A better idea is to make each player HIT! The DH is so freaking lame. You should have to play the field in order to bat. Only exception is a pinch-hitter.

Hudson is hitting .286. The NL is the only league that has it RIGHT, btw. The DH should be done away with.

I leased a couple of cars several years ago. Each one for two years. Never had a single problem with either. By "lease", I meant like a two year lease, if they still have those. Unless you're hard on the car you're not likely to run into any problems in that short time. Furthermore, if you get Honda or something like that, you're even less likely to encounter a problem. It was just a suggestion. And it beats having a beater and having to constantly repair stuff on it all the time.
