That DQ apology form is dang hilarious!

Peters has said many times how much he values draft picks.
For Peters, ultimately, the vision going forward is to build through the draft, while being cautious with free agency additions.

I am a bit surprised Fuller hasn't found a team. He's a reliable solid starting CB and isn't super old and played fairly well last year(considering our coaching).
Agree. He got put on IR in January with a knee issue. That may be it.

I don’t really see the need for a WR in FA or it being pressing
Dotson/Mclaurin/Ekeler//Robinson is a lot of veteran support amoung others for a rookie QB
I think shoring up the secondary is more pressing if there are any further FA signings
Yup

So we’re rumored to be in on Simmons for FS. Then add a CB. Maybe 2. Hell Fire.
I doubt it. Another guy who wants the big contract like Curl. Eagles are out on him.

Summary -
- Wagner chose familiarity with staff over west coach location. Fills much needed leader in back 7
- Wagner is a vocal guy even outside gameday (gathers the team at practices and gets on loafers)
- Seattle played him more that they wanted to vs rotational (team needed to do so)
- Sees him as a leader who sets the tone
- Mentioned that Ertz is same kind of guy
- Older guys are here to establish program identity
- Talked about familiarity the coaches have with players and how that plays an important role, especially in FA (strengths/weaknesses/drive/character)
- Said if Tyron Smith comes here it's because he couldn't go somewhere where he could compete for a "ring"
- Team does not feel like they need to make a decision on Howell
- Mentioned Crowder, nice job returning punts and has been close to breaking some
- He brought up WR Josh Reynolds from Detroit - size and familiary with one of the coaches
- This group is intent on building through the draft but you can look at the guys that got 3yr deals and see who they want to anchor the team
- He's expecting a Tackle at some point
- Need to find a couple corners

Hopefully, he has the DQ experience like Bobby, Dante, Armstrong, etc.
Given his age, he may want to go to a contender and can't blame him really.

With you. I'd pay up to $8.5 mill but $7mill guaranteed. Contract would be multi incentive.
They said on NFLN Total Access he had several offers he was mulling over.

Finally hopefully some movement. Right, HigSkin! Who do you like and what type of contract?
Afraid to say on this thread because I take bullets everytime I do it but T. Smith on a 1 year bridge and draft one.

Just read that Standig reported there were 4 teams, including Denver that were in on the Howell interest. That would certainly drive up the pick value
