yea, this is a **** show for the o-line in pass-blocking, Sam, and EB's play calling. chalk it up to an L today. sucks the alumni had to see this. nasty weather and product on the field. idk, i say dont bench him. you're basically rookie QB needs to learn and take his lumps. let him prove himself, you're rolling with him for the future anyway. Unless Harris dictates otherwise

you would think 3 games in EB would see running the ball keeps us in the game, helps Sam, and helps the o-line/pass rush. the gameplan only seems to click for him in the 2nd half. a bit concerning

We really need to score 7 on this drive before this game really gets away from us

RR and JDR can slink, stumble and drag their asses to a win vs teams like AZ and the Broncos. But when we go up against teams that are aggressive and have innovative/imaginative OC's and DC's we get outclassed, out-coached, and out-played. Bad. Chalk this season up to seeing what personnel we can roll over and work with next season.

EB really seems to get away from the run early and gets pass-happy

ive had plenty of posts in this thread already dunking on EB dialing up long-developing plays, going away from run, and the o-line still being swiss cheese. PLUS ****ting on RR for ignoring upgrading this group this summer. Ive given all parties involved blame today. More than once. If it seemed it was only about Sam in my post you quoted, it was mainly because he lobbed it up in the air and idk if he had a chance to throw it into the ground, but it was a lolipop floater of a throw. And it added insult to injury that a floater like that just had to be caught by a guy who's had no INTs in 2yrs. teams always seem to catch their grooves vs us. so not, it's not just on Sam. He, online, EB and RR allneed to do better.

Hopefully JDR took notes on that one to add to his playsheet
