These backup broadcasters are as annoyingly behind Mayweather as Lampley is against him. I'm not sure which is worse...

With 2 rounds remaining, it's fairly safe to assume that Cotto isn't going to win a decision. He needs to finish him if he wants a win.

Round 9 was close, guess I'd go for Mayweather.

Jim Lampley clearly hates Mayweather. Points out any Mayweather punch blocked, but experiences elation whe Cotto hits Floyd's shoulder.

I guess he should be unbias....but Mayweather is so easy to dislike.

Nothing would make me happier than to see Mayweather lose right before he has to go to prison. I like him as a boxer but he's so damn annoying.

That being said, I'd be *shocked* if Cotto pulls this one out, thinking TKO in the 10th.

He just can't sit there at LHW forever though. I mean he could, but it would be less impressive than moving up and losing the massive size advantage (he'll still have the best reach even there) and dominating with pure skill.

He will never move up, He is nowhere near the size of the big boys of the division. It's hard for a fighter to go from most physically gifted to one of the smaller guys in the division. Unless he goes on the testosterone(horse meat) diet that Alistair claims, he will stay at that division.

If he's as worried about his legacy as he claims (wanting to be one of the all time greats) he has to move up though.

You can't sit there and just dominate much smaller fighters and never move up for a challenge. Jones probably walks around at what? 230ish? JDS isn't *that* much bigger.

I'm assuming Hendo is up next, if that H-Bomb doesn't land, he's toast.

Hendo has a much shorter reach than Rashad....I think Jones will have like a 13 inch reach advantage or so. It's going to be absurd looking.

If he can land it clean though it'll be interesting to see how Jones takes it.

He came off humble in that interview but that's not how he always acts.

The power from guys like JDS would be an issue. He's tough but he wouldn't be able to walk those bigger guys back like he does right now, at least I think so.

Pretty much, he's just too big for anyone to do anything with in this weight class.

From a size standpoint it almost seems unfair, matched with his amazing skill it's brutal.

I don't want to sound like I'm knocking Jones. The guy is talented as hell, but his size gives him the ability to utilize it like he does. If he didn't have a 8-9 inch reach advantage on guys he would be a much different fighters.
