  1. I am going to grade Peters on a curve, him being a GM for the 1st time and all, I will give him an A-
  2. And he switched from QB so he has that as an added bonus. 😊
  3. I know you are Mr Clean and all ... but I just want a good look on the field.
  4. Also had a faster 40-yard dash time than his brother albeit it was only by a 100th of a second. lol
  5. COLLEGE Rice HOMETOWN CLASS Highlands Ranch, CO HEIGHT 6’ 2’’ WEIGHT 198 lbs ARM 30 1/8’’ HAND 9 5/8’’ 40-Yard Dash 4.46 10-Yard Split 1.52 Vertical Jump 36’’ Broad Jump 10’ 1’’ 3-Cone Drill 6.7 20-Yd Shuttle 4.02 Overview Big slot target who comes from high-end NFL bloodlines and who showed noticeable improvement in his second season at the position. Luke lacks the size of his father, former Pro Bowl receiver Ed McCaffrey, and the explosiveness of his brother, Offensive Player of the Year Christian McCaffrey, but he catches with soft hands, great focus and extreme toughness. McCaffrey struggles to release and bypass press coverage and might not have enough separation quickness or top-end speed to uncover against NFL defenders. However, with additional time to learn the position and fine-tune his route running, McCaffrey might be able to follow his dad and brother into the league as a possession slot receiver. Strengths The former QB took a big step forward in his second season at receiver. Accelerates into top speed fairly quickly. Fearless into the teeth of the defense and excels at combat catches. Route running improved over the second half of 2023. Made jaw-dropping one-handed catches with coverage draped over him. Focus drops do not exist in his dojo. Weaknesses Had trouble releasing cleanly against serious press attempts. Movement is more one-speed than sudden and shifty. Still needs work getting in and out of breaks more quickly. Can improve with adjustments coming back to deep throws.
  6. What happened to @PCS Anyway, the Coleman welcome thread is now up
  7. COLLEGE TCU HOMETOWN CLASS Denton, TX HEIGHT 6’ 4 1/2’’ WEIGHT 313 lbs ARM 34 5/8’’ HAND 10 3/4’’ https://www.nfl.com/prospects/brandon-coleman/3200434f-4c22-1902-c2a9-024e4ce6fb72 Overview Three-year starter and team captain in 2023 with outstanding length and the potential to offer roster flexibility. Coleman will be scouted and drafted as a guard but might be able to handle a move to tackle in an emergency. He's broad and fits up blocks with pretty good accuracy when his hands are right, but he's never going to be a lane clearer in the run game. Coleman's experience at tackle helps his chances of protecting NFL quarterbacks as a guard. He pass protects with efficient hands and sound technique, but his reactive athleticism is very average, which could be trouble against sub-package rushers. Strengths Broad frame with A+ wingspan and tackle/guard experience. Patient with double-team timing and runs feet through contact with a wide base. Holds secure block for as long as possible before climbing up to linebacker. Throws a direct pass punch and reworks hands to stay on top of rusher. Does a nice job of trusting feet to slide and clobber gap-shooters. Weaknesses Will be on the wrong side of pad level on more snaps than not. Struggles to create displacement with his leg drive at the point. Inconsistent hand placement causes inconsistent results as run blocker. Allows weight to rock outside his base in pass pro. Has trouble with sudden change of direction against rush counters
  8. Sinnott also plays hockey....huh... if he doesn't work out maybe the Caps can pick him up lol
  9. Let's ask Paddleboat Ron. He said, "Punter."
  10. I also think since they got a few players on a 1 year contract so they want to hit the ground running and don't want to take more time than needed to develop at the QB position.
  11. They better NOT be trading for Bruce Allen!!!!
  12. Go to my OP and see the graphic as to how many. Okay I will save you the trip. Yes.
  13. They just simply didn't like these two QBs from UNC lol But seriously, I really liked Howell even before we drafted him. He was even #1 QB in passing for the 1st half of the season (we threw a lot of course). The defenders bounced off of him when he ran with the football (you are not going to see that with JD though). This year before the draft I started to warm up to JD even though thought Maye is the more prototypical QB in this year's draft and younger. I have no problem with JD. He is an electric player and will/should be exciting to watch on game day. With all that said, unfortunately Howell didn't have enough experience to be the backup. Also, he didn't have enough on his resume to be the starter where the rook could just sit behind him for a year or two. So not stupid at all as this gives Howell the chance to prove that he belongs in the NFL and probably choose the team that can help him obtain that goal. I will be rooting for Howell, not the Seahawks, if one day he takes them to the SB.
  14. Roger seems to be slurrying a bit tonight lol
  15. You trying to become a Panthers fan so you can pronounce it correctly 😜
