  1. A Monte Cristo.  And I won't even eat these anymore because it's so unhealthy....but If I needed to pick a. last meal, it just might be one of these.

And it's a shame that I have to say it, but any restaurant that advertises a Monte Cristo as a turkey and swiss between two pieces of French toast is NOT to be trusted.  That boy better be dipped in batter and fried, or I don't want it.

An entertainment destination project at the Dulles quarry site would seemingly be a winner. I can imagine politicians falling all over themselves for a big moneymaker like that.

Thing is, it probably doesn't need a Commanders stadium to work, just the way National Landing doesn't.

If anything, a Snyder stadium would be a drag on the entire thing, since there is so little demonstrated demand for the team. The only reason to plop down a big useless concrete bowl into a project like that is to generate foot traffic.

If I'm a banker, I'm not seeing the numbers add up.

TBH, the coolest part of the Loudoun site is that it appears to have restaurants right on the water.  Like a little taste of the Bellagio in Sterling lol.

i understand what translucent means…I’m not going to go into it anymore than that, thanks

I mean, I really am curious how it has anything to do with holding in sound.

just curious, but if it’s translucent, how is it going to hold sound in? If we ever get a good football team again and actually get a crowd, dont we want the competitive advantage?

Of course, this could be Dan giving up on our team getting good and knowing that opposing teams are going to take over and he wants the sound out of the stadium so our offense can work.

Wait, who am I kidding? Dan doesn’t think that far in depth, unless it’s rip off customers so he can obtain more money.

Doesn’t matter what the stadium looks like, you’re still going to get stale peanuts and pretzels.

    1.  That's not what translucent means.

    2.  The design isn't really feasible, so the point is moot anyway.

about 2.5 hours?   Dumfries seems like it's somewhere inbetween?

It's nowhere close to being in between. It's just in the same general direction.

A move to Richmond would essentially be a whole relocation.

The stadium itself looks pretty nice. They used the same firm that did the previous design with the moat. BIG is the architectural firm. They have some really nice designs in other projects.

I cannot believe they're still using any variation of that awful, awful BIG concept.  They have no experience designing stadiums and it's going to show.

I don't know the DMV area well at all, but if they want to fill a 60,000 seat stadium with Skins fans (fewer opposing fans), wouldn't it make sense to move it further away from DC and closer to Richmond?

Do you know how far away Richmond is from DC?

That's such a BS narrative. There was zero reason to tank this season but Elias chose to do that. Hell, they didn't have to tank last season either cause this year's first round pick isn't gonna be crucial to winning in the near term. Elias is young and doesn't have a care at all in the world about time and when to attempt to win. For that, he can **** all the way off.

To clarify, it's not a belief of being more qualified, it's rejecting tanking for this many seasons.

Hahaha as usual, you're a pretty rude dude.

At this point in my baseball fandom, I only watch a little of the playoffs and that's it.

Now that's a BS narrative. Lol.

Lions played an NFC team last year, so they’d play an AFC team this year. Yeah that leak is 100% false. Also has Dallas hosting the bengals on thanksgiving (Dallas played an AFC team last year, would play an NFC team this year)

    They don't alternate AFC/NFC anymore.

Are you really that clueless about how free agency works? Good gracious.

Again, pretty disrespectful. You're literally coming from a place where you're complaining, but aren't offering any specific solutions. There's nothing profound about that.

Which. Players. Do. You. Think. They. Should. Have. Signed? Be specific.

Anyone that projected to be better than what the O's currently have would've been great. If the O's offered more money to players that joined non-contenders would be reason enough for any of those players to sign with the O's instead.

Is that a direct quote from those players? Which players?

    This you?

Apples and oranges my man. I truly mean that you gotta read it if you want to participate.

Still waiting on hearing which players you thought Baltimore should have persued, and why those players were wrong to sign with other teams.

Good gracious you don’t understand sports. Not all players chase championships over money. A lot of players will go with the most money.

Again, the point of bringing in better players is to begin to get incrementally better since that’s how teams get to the playoffs. They don’t need to be players that are here when the team is actually competing for the playoffs but the Os would be better if they had a couple of better infielders at 2nd and 3rd.

so to recap, I showed you the Astros built and spent more incrementally, no team wins with all homegrown players and Elias knows all these prospects won’t succeed.

    any other lessons you need?

Are you normally this disrespectful when you're struggling to get people to agree with you? Don't condescend me, please. It's not necessary.

Not once have you actually mentioned any players that you think they should have signed. You're complaining from a distance because it's easy, but it requires no real thought.
