The people I know who live there complain about the cost of living the most. Homelessness is mentioned as well.
So you have no personal experience. How predictable. I live there, I could just as easily tell you that while those are problems that exist, this is still a very pleasant and livable state. You're picking and choosing what you want to believe to confirm your biases. If the "California is a liberal hellhole" trope hadn't existed for decades preceding the recent population loss, maybe more people would be inclined to believe you.

There's been a steady population decline for years. That's not a talking point.
That has nothing to do with what you said. I mean, you're not even explaining why the population decline is happening. Again, it's just a talking point.

Oh yea. Republican policies are why California has crumbled. LOL.
But you're not actually providing any analysis. You're just repeating talking points you've heard other people say. Do tell us what you really think of California.

If he is one of our best players why would we trade him away?
Specifically in Trey's case, he's a liability in right field and not good enough to be the everyday first baseman. You're basically forced to DH him...BUT the O's happen to have an awesome young catcher who could benefit from DHing from time to time. It sucks, but the future and development of the team is more important than Trey.

This should absolutely NOT change the game plan. The Orioles don't want to be a ".500 going in to the break" kind of good. They want to be the Astros.
As fun as this run has been, they're going to come back down to earth these next few weeks.

I feel incredibly lucky living where I do— I’ve often cut out of working at home early on fridays to grab a train to wrigley and buy a ticket while on the train. I can be from door to my seat in 30 minutes. But seeing the os there is extra special. I bought the tickets in February when it was expected to be two 60-win clubs facing off on a weeknight.
im so pumped about this team right now.
If I'm lucky I can get to Dodger Stadium on a whim in 30 minutes...IF I decide to go at least 2 hours before game time. One of the *few* benefits of living in Hollywood.
I'd rather be in Chicago lol.

Bro, Wrigley is awesome and those are great seats. I had every intention of going to one of the games this series but knee surgery made that impossible.

O's are 6 games back. 👀👀👀

Now only 6 games back from a wildcard spot...

They're within the realm of a wildcard spot. No way I think they get it, but not being completely out if the picture this late in the season feels nice. Getting the respect from basically all other AL East fans feel weird and nice too haha. But I'll take it. We are chaos.

Gotta hand it to Mr. Snyder...he sure can ruin what should be a sure thing. No DC, or even Baltimore in the World Cup is a travesty. Add it to the pile.
That being said, I think it's a good batch of cities. I'd rather have Nashville than Boston, but what can you do.
