  1. Called today and had a pretty candid conversation with a supervisor that was trying to help me add a 3rd or 4th seat to my tickets in the lower level. He said unless someone who has already paid calls and just cancels their tickets he does not expect many more open seats in the lower level. There were however open seats in 229 and 230 groups of 3. There are of course multiple single seats available in the lower level and there are some 100 level seats with like seat 30 in row 11 and 12 in the 100's if you were willing to sit like that.

My initial ticket operator was not very helpful and transferred me to premium tickets who said this is a mistake you shouldn't have been transferred here, I asked for a supervisor and the next guy I talked to really went over section by section with me offering me options to get me an additional seat in the lower level but I did not like any of the options so I dropped it. (I wanted to add 2 seats together not just an extra ticket away from my seats)

(if anyone wants 1 lower level ticket in 200 or 100 message me and I would be willing to purchase it and then sell to you)

Edit I left out he said anyone with lower level seats should expect that your upgrades would have already been posted. There are no expected 2nd waves of lower level seats, some upper deck seats are still getting updated in the machine but no one else that's already in LL would be moving past this initial round

Having back to back seats in two different rows wouldn't be too bad if you go to the game with a friend, but I don't think that would be a good arrangement if you were taking a spouse, or a kid to the game. It would be kind of awkward.

  2. With everybody getting massive upgrades and not a whole lot of folks on this board talking about being first time STH's I am thinking they might not sell out this year. If they do not sell all of the UL tickets I bet they are going to move everybody closer to the 50's and say that the UL from the 10 yard line to the endzone are special construction areas or something dumb like that.

All of the people that "upgraded" to a 100 inch TV might be screwed.

None of this really affects me though. I will be in the LL this year.

  3. My seats finally came off my invoice today. I am in 428, row 27 on the aisle. I asked to stay in the same section and seats, but just move down some rows in the same price category, hopefully this will be the case...

You moved down to row 27? Where did you start?

  4. Did anyone with uppers that are staying in upper get an upgrade yet?

I have a friend who has been in the UL endzone for years. He likes the seats because it fits his budget. He never wanted an upgrade. They promised him better seats at the same price. Still no word yet.

  5. A couple years ago they started that and marked your passing pass with a black marker during preseason. It took forever to get in the lots and they quickly abandoned that idea.

Maybe they will go ICC in the future and require everybody to have a ezpass. LOL

  6. If the attendants have to now physically tear the stub off of each pass, the lines to enter the lots will flow like pine sap after 10:00am. You'd hope they could scan them if validating each pass becomes necessary.

Very true. The Kenny Chesney concert only had about 52,000 people there and people rolled in over a long time frame.

  7. BTW, since we're talking about parking passes - I went to the Kenny Chesney concert (not to actually see the concert, mind you, but just for an excuse to tailgate), and the parking passes, which were the same shape and size as the ones we're familiar with, had a distinct difference. As I approached the parking attendant, he made me stop. He walked up to me and asked me to hand him my parking pass. I did. He then tore off a stub at the bottom. I hadn't even noticed it, but there was a horizontal perforation along the bottom of the pass. The attendant kept the stub, game me back the pass, and I then re-hung it on my mirror. Nothing was scanned.

This could be used, though, to deny entry to those who leave and come back during the pre-game. It could be used to invalidate passes for those who re-sell their passes after they enter (I've never seen this done, but I suppose it's possible), and it could be used as an anti-counterfeit measure.

So this change may be coming in 2011.

I noticed it at the Kenny Chesney concert as well. It was my first Country and Western concert ever. I thought it was a pretty good time though.

I have seen some high quality fake parking passes over the years. People make a copy on a professional quality scanner on good stock paper, and glue an old hologram onto the copy. If you held it in your hand its 100% fake, but if you were just looking in the windshields of cars it looks legit. This would curb that as well.

  8. I have been on vacation and finally was able to check my account and i am in UL row 13 and i am getting an upgrade to LL. I called the TO and they wouldn't give me any info, just that we would be notified by email to check our acct for our new seats and this would happen by end of June. Has anyone in UL received their new seat locations yet?

I am in the same situation as you. I was in the 10th row of the UL and when I called the TO they said my seats would be somewhere between sections 109-113 in the LL this year but did not give me any other info other than that I will know my exact location in the upcoming weeks.

  9. My seats are missing too. I was in row 10 of section 422. I hope I am out of that section completely and in the lower level. The seats were $79 when people either on section over or a few rows higher paid less for the same view.

  10. Neither have mine... still sitting there with last year seats... upper level weeee

Me too. I have been emailing the TO every day. I might drive down to Landover next week if I don't hear anything this week.

  11. Curious, how many people select the "do not upgrade me unless I get aisle seats" option? Are aisle seats that much of a premium that's it's worth foregoing a section upgrade?

I currently have aisle seats in the UL. I didn't even ask for them. I would gladly take mid-row LL over aisle UL every day of the week.

  12. If I were you I would be reminding them and forwarding the email back to them.

I just got this in a email back from the TO. "We are in the process of doing upgrades right now, so you will be contacted via email if we are able to upgrade your seats. At this time, we are still working on lower level seating so if your seats are in the upper bowl then it will be at least a couple more weeks until you hear something.

If you have any further questions, please contact the Ticket Office."

Does anybody know somebody that is a upper level STH and received a phone call or email yet about an upgrade?

  13. I got it guaranteed in writing I'd be between the 10 yard lines. I forget the exact sections so I felt it was worth it. I was previously in 131 (3 years) and 426 since 2002 or 03

I have a email from last year promising me that my seats would be better this year but it didn't really indicate where the seats would be. I still have not gotten any correspondence from the TO yet about where my seats will be this year though.

  14. Does anybody know what sections were removed for the party zone? It looks like 410 to about 419(assuming it is symmetrical). I posted a similar message on a different thread but this looks like the main thread. Sorry about the previous post.
