Looking at current prices on Stubhub, I'm wondering if Eagle fans are driving this market. I was hoping their performance this season would keep them in their cages.

I've gotten two. The last one also offered limited availability of premium seats for this game.

My seats finally came off of my invoice today. I'm in section 429, row 11, looking to move down in my section.

Not quite. They didn't have metallic paint on the helmets in 1972, but it would be one sharp uniform.

I would think we would have already heard something if they were being worn this Sunday.

Thanks. I was trying to picture in my mind Theismann running out of the endzone for the safety against Dallas and I was going either way. Then I started looking at '79 football cards, which typically have the prior season's pics, at the latest, and was seeing gold and started to think the change was made for '79.

Pardee changed the uniforms in 1978, his first year. Edit: Now I'm not so sure. It could've been 1979, but I can't find anything definitive to know for sure.

If you compare the "Lombardi" Redskins pants and jerseys to the Packers, you'll see the stripe scheme on both is identical. The only difference is the Packers had dark green bordering the white stripes and the Redskins had burgundy borders. Nevertheless, I've always felt that that jersey and pants combo, carried on by George Allen, nixed by Pardee in '78 in favor of the current scheme, is the best looking we've ever had.

I remember those helmets from before I knew who or what Florida State was, so I don't have that problem.

Thank you! Also, I've seen the "R" helmet on websites being sold as a 75th anniversary helmet, not a throwback. I do hope the they do the whole uniform and not some updated retro crap.

You heard right. He also added the Packer-like jersey sleeve stripes and pants stripes.
