  1. He had Gibson out to the right completely uncovered. But I think Gibson got tripped up a bit and wasn't out fast enough for Howell to see him.
  2. Fully expecting our defense be gashed early and often, Bears style. We’ll score some points in the second half, but we already know how this game will go.
  3. And then we're right back to our mid-round pick issue, where the chance of landing offensive line replacements is tough given good pieces of offensive lines tend to be drafted in the top 10. That's how we ended up with Forbes (and our GMHC falls in love with a player and doesn't take better talent that may be available) rather than a Darnell Wright type of prospect.
  4. Yet another prime example of where our GM/HC fell in love with a personality and thought we're going to get an absolute steal here instead of taking the sure thing in a position we desperately needed.
  5. This is the ONLY reason I am rooting for the team to fail at turning it around this season, so there is no other option than to clean house. To have a defense that's as talented as we have, it's absolutely inexcusable that we suck at getting pressure on the QB. There have been no adjustments, even after players on the opposing team admitted to knowing exactly what we were going to do in big time situations. And GM Ron Rivera should be fired for leaving the offensive line in tatters before this season began. I'm so done with the coaching staff, it's time to wipe the slate clean.
  6. Jones just seems to have our number for some unknown reason.
  7. BTW: it was hilarious to see the Giants fans on twitter crushing the refs for not calling a PI in the end zone in the game against the Bills. Karma MFers.
  8. Nothing could be weirder than the four flags that were picked up during the Bears game. I've never seen more than one or two flags picked up in an entire weekend of games, so to see four in the Chicago game (all called against the Bears initially of course) was jarring.
  9. Yep, I'm fully ready to win a few pointless games and then the next regime has another mid-round pick to deal with rather than getting some blue chipper early in the first.
  10. Our d-line has be way more animated when they're held. They're not getting the calls and the arms up aren't really drawing any penalties. Rushing four with a soft zone behind? Maybe...
  11. Unreal that they aren't throwing the flag on Parsons... dude is halfway in the neutral zone. That hold looked like the Wylie special.
  12. Some good acting by Dak right there. Howell takes 5 or 6 of those every game and there's no call. It's good to be on America's team I guess.
  13. It's like the Ghost of Christmas past... Holy cow - I forgot about that guy. I remember he was always right on the money about any moves he hinted at - his calls were legendary, especially around free agency. In fact, I remember we would all sit and wait for Andyman to make an appearance in the thread. It would usually be one or two sentences, but he always had some insight into what was about to go down. Little did we know he was a
  14. Not a chance. The wind was completely taken out of their sails with that BS blindside block.
  15. By the end of the season, it will be clear that we have our guy. Then it will be time to build around him.
  16. Yup… the hold on Chase was pretty obvious
  17. Bears had 2 coming in to our game... we gave up 5.
