Young guys make dumbs mistakes. Help them out and slow the game down. I am not taking the blame off Howell, but the coaches could have help him there.

This is so important. Slow the game down for the young qb. Sure it was a bad throw, but you had the time outs. Slow the game down and even run the ball twice.

Because we can’t run. Our running game sucks too. Our ol can’t run block or pass block. But it must be Sam’s fault.

At this point I think it’s time to bench Sam. Not because he has been bad but because this line is awful. If this keeps going he is going to get broken. If he already isn’t.

I have no words.  This is going to be Rick bottom if we lose this game. I have no words. 

Can our backup ol be worse?  This is all on Ron the GM. This is the worse ol I have seen in years and I have been watching since the early 70’s. 

I am so tired of the rb’s running into the backs of the ol.

1 bad play per quarter is acceptable and going to happen unless you're a top 5 QB.

 

Howell's issue is he has too many bad plays per game.  But I don't fault him, he's in his 7th game. 

 

Talk to me after 20 games. If it's still happening, it's a problem.  Right now, it's a learning experience.  

I am so tired of the Sam Howell discussion. He is what he is and we have seen growth, but it doesn’t matter what he does if our defense is as bad as they are. He is a project we all expected highs and lows. But the defense was supposed to be the strength. The defense sucks, it doesn’t matter what Sam does right now.

Glad the defense is letting all the wr’s wide open. That’s a strategy they won’t expect.
