I am not saying meaningless but do you think it will in anyway cause Dan Snyder to give up the team. Ticket sales will not nor ever do that and could not on their own cause a team to even lose money. As for the petty, yes I agree which is why I said it the way I did. I am not that petty to keep a list but do think it is worth pointing out people making claims that you already know they wont keep.

Also someone should keep a list of posters who said they won't go to games with Snyder as an owner and call them out when they go to games when the team is winning again with Snyder still the owner.

It blows my mind when folks say they don't have time for this team but post on here in the offseason. I also do not get why people who have given up their tickets need to so desperately justify themselves by trying to convince others to do so to make themselves feel better. If you gave up your season tickets, great. You are right you could get tickets cheaper etc. But why then come on the STH thread and post constantly? As for the you are keeping Snyder in power by your $2,000 a year seat. Get real. Snyder is not /will not be selling the team in any capacity no matter what I or any of us do. Only way that happens if he says something stupid (More stupid than Happy Thanksgiving though that was foolish) that makes the league want him out. You just sound un educated if you think the few of us with ST could change him being the owner. You do not have to justify your move with this logic. It is ok to give up your season tickets for a losing team when you can buy cheaper tickets. And yes I will renew easier now with Allen gone and Rivera in. Great move albeit too late by the team. Keep bungling things Dallas. Fewer STH means more perks for me (Trip to Bahamas with Doug Williams was awesome!) but I will enjoy when we win again and more fans jump back in! HTTR!

Picked up my signed Doug Williams Jersey as part of my Redskins Rewards points today which was great but another item wasn't there. And they asked me what I had ordered. I think I could have said anything. They shut down the tents with Gold Member freebies because of wind but I managed to get to it inside the stadium. By time i got there though the only thing left was Notebooks which I was happy to get. The free gloves were nice at the entrance. They sent me through the App the winning number for the 50/50 and then showed a completely different number on the jumbo tron?! I lost both but I wonder how they handled two winners coming forward. I skipped the fifth quarter party assuming it was mostly drinks and I had kids with me. Anybody else go? It is like they are trying but don't quite get it all together.

I have done it since they sent me an email stating that the Gold benefit is free food and cheaper beer at two spots in the club level. How else would you get that benefit if the card didnt let you into the club area. I have never had a problem. But i am also nice to people and that goes a long way so not sure it is official policy or I just make it work.

I use my Redskins Gold card to get into club level and get the free food and discount beers. My seats are upper deck.

Where do I start with this drivel! If you think me not going to games and getting the perks of being a season plan holder would cause Snyder to change or sell the team then I will not lower myself to your intellect and engage in discussion. We are Redskin Fanatics. I am not going to give away years of enjoying what I am passionate about just so I can be a curmudgeon that doesnt actually change anything. Besides traincamp access, on field events etc. I will enjoy saying I was a season ticket holder through the tough times when the good times come again. Till then a bad day at Fed Ex (And they are all really bad) with my kid tailgating is still a better day than most! On that freebies note: The Redskins Rewards page has been active this week with signed items including jerseys for season ticket members. Check it our fellow Fanatics. I just got my free Doug Williams Signed Jersey. I guess that is me taking graft for being part of the problem. Good Grief.

Is the Redskins Rewards system now defunct? I can't believe the season has started and no updates to the site with items though we got our points.

The season kick off party was a nice idea and the number of starters who came to sign autographs was great! But no way you should run out of food at the event! Gary Clark was incredibly patient signing as well.

I won the field passes for tonight's game which is great but I wish I had gotten earlier notice or that the Redskins Rewards site was more updated. I am guessing that everyone that entered the raffle won and not many entered. Anyone enter and lose?

Anybody else on here go to the season ticket holder practice session. It was a beautiful day and great view of the whole practice. A lot of players signed things but CT and especially Haskins stayed out for at least a full half hour chatting and taking pictures. The food was Famous Daves and Rob Ryan and a few coaches joined us as they said our food was better than what was inside. Just another reason to keep the season tickets. I know many do not find the justification but I enjoy the perks.

I moved over two seats to be closer to the aisle. hahaha Woooo!

I know for me which weekends are key. Some weekends I am booked, mostly with family stuff. I hope Mark stays in so we can trade tickets again.

I am in the same exact boat! I have gotten fed and played catch with Gary Clark, been there for first interview with Alex Smith in the locker room, Special ST practice with BBQ, besides autographed items etc. Last year the all inclusive free trip to the Bahamas with Doug Williams really covered my upper deck tickets. I hope noone renews so I get more free stuff!!!

Redskinsrewards is back up and running

I won the Redskins Rewards trip with Doug Williams legends to the Bahamas! So excited and I love being a season ticket holder.

I know if I didnt get the tickets I would stop going and become less of a fan. Aren't most teams...in all sports...

I like cheering and feeling like I am supporting the team and they can hear me. (I do have a loud voice;) Could I save money by going to the secondary market? Sure but I would go to fewer games and some of the best have been games I didnt think would be worth it but I had tickets so I plan to go and I invite someone fun and have a grand time. The rewards program for STH's was tonight was with Alex Smith and it was free and so much fun. We sung HTTR and he said when deal first came out he had to google HTTR because folks kept saying it to him. Such a fun night and if I have to over pay to get little fun nights on a Wednesday in April or go to a preseason game with an old friend I never would have bought tickets for and we have a great time catching up....well I just feel very fortunate that my fiscal situation allows me such a nice luxury. Nothing beats Tailgating. Life is short. Enjoy it and you can not take your money with you. Do people prefer to say "I was at the game that they came back etc..." or "I saw that game from the comfort of my chair by myself" To each his/her own but I have wasted money on much more foolish things than season tickets. If I didnt have the season I would not know my neighbors and I would be much less likely to get off my lazy can and go. Often happy I did. Haha!

The Redskins come up with new experiences that you can get with rewards points plus tailgating in the Redzone lot is awesome. Doing the combine on the field with Clark and Harvey was beyond cool and they threw in food. It is true you can't sell tickets for much so I guess I will just have to go to every game.
