  1. I remember plenty of sunny days where we sweated a lot, as there is no shade. I also remember one row (the front in front of us) often had visiting team fans, and we learned after a while that row was one they gave away for a lot of the contests (and our last year or two the cannon point and shoot or whatever that contest is called winner or winners would sit in that row)
  2. Congrats. Those are my old T.G.C. seats (We were in row 16 or 18, though) Great section when we had our tickets. Enjoy
  3. Got another email Seats available in 230, with gray parking. Only available if purchase in a pack of 3.
  4. I was reading that on my crackberry and though I could barely see the image I was dying from laughter. What is sadder is I fully beleive that some of the parking attendants would miss that, I think after awhile they just look for a color. Oh well, you got in for that game, and thats what matters. lol
  5. Just got another email Upper level seats (all rows) still available, but all lower level seats are no longer available. Also got the lovely fathers day email, that was worth a good ...or 100
  6. For those who follow trends, I called the TO today and was told that there are no lower level seats available. They are still selling upper level sideline and endzone, I think 877 and 587 (or somewhere in that range) was what he quoted me.
  7. that is awesome! Good for you. I think you went a bit overboard (I must admit I only read the article and I have not followed your posts) but I also see where if I were in your shoes I would have been furious as well. Best of luck, and please keep us updated!
  8. I was offered endzone seats, nothing more specific then that. Gray parking pass was also offered, no budging on anything else (kept using the auto upgrade and saying "If you keep tickets you are guarenteed to move up and get better seats/parking in no time"
  9. I was in Row 18 FWIW, parking was not even discussed, nor was the 10% down option. I mentioned parking towards the end of the call, and he said they could talk about that and they could definitely work with me. (whatever the hell that means)
  10. I will preface this by saying I have not read all of this thread. Had been getting calls from the TO to my old cell phone, so I finally called back today and they asked why I did not renew. I said the CBA was my deciding factor, and they stressed I could do the pay 25% down now, pay the 75% the day the CBA gets done. For **** and giggles I also asked what my chances of moving were, and I was told since my seat is going to be torn up I could be moved to the lower level, but it would be quite pricy. If I kept my current seat I would be relocated to a similar seat and pay the same price. Still hard for me to pony up for tickets when we are not sure if we will have a season, but at least they are not throwing package deals at you like they have in the past (when they would tell you your only chance of upgrading is via the TDC or TGC)
  11. I disagree about contraction. I do think we could do with less teams, but the NFL has talent spread out just as much as the NBA and you would never hear talk of contraction in the NFL. The 80's was great if you were a Laker or Celtic (or fan of those teams) but I personally do not see that as better for the NBA. As for why the article mentions those teams, I believe those are the teams LeBron talked about getting rid of....that is before he knew what the word meant *roll eyes smilie here*
  12. MIAMI -- LeBron James welcomes the New Jersey Nets and the Minnesota Timberwolves as part of the NBA, and said that he never intended to advocate contraction in recent comments he made about the league's "watered down" talent level compared to the 1980s. "That's crazy, because I had no idea what the word 'contraction' meant before I saw it on the Internet," James said after the Miami Heat's practice Monday. "I never even mentioned that. That word never even came out of my mouth. I was just saying how the league was back in the '80s and how it could be good again. I never said, 'Let's take some of the teams out.' " James found himself Monday in a position of yet again having to clarify some controversial comments. On Thursday, he told reporters before the Heat's game against the Phoenix Suns that he would like to see more stars playing together instead of them being spread out throughout the league. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/truehoop/miamiheat/news/story?id=5960277
  13. A horrible decision. The call should have been reversed
