  1. Rampage is apparently injured and his doctors told him to cancel the fight but he wants to fight in Japan so bad that he stuck it out. If that's true, I hope he doesn't come out flat and get his ass whipped by Bader because of the injury. I hope he just puts it all on the line for the Japanese fans. IMO, he can beat Bader via decision if he's aggressive and bullies him around the cage.
  2. I'm pulling for Lauzon too, he almost always puts on a show. I was just about to come here and post the Edgar/Balboa video myself
  3. I like the idea, now we just need some decent judges. http://crooklynscorner.com/2012/02/mighty-mouse-signs-debut-agreement-sudden-death-ufc-fox/
  4. http://mmajunkie.com/news/27514/glover-teixeira-signs-with-ufc-targeted-for-early-summer-debut.mma ---------- Post added February-21st-2012 at 10:24 PM ---------- Also from Anderson's Twitter:
  5. I think so, I think we'll see lots of fireworks in the main event. Also in the LW division, I'm really looking forward to Joe Lauzon/Anthony Pettis which should be an exciting fight. Then there's the FW bout between Hioki/Palaszweski, which will be interesting. If Hioki gets the win he should be next in line to face Aldo, but Palaszewski just had a nice KO win over Tyson Griffin. Then there's Shields/Akiyama, I have to think that if Akiyama loses, he'll be cut and Shields in on a two-fight losing streak too, although I think he'd get one more shot if he somehow lost. And as you mentioned there's the Rampage/Bader and Hunt/Kongo fights. Very exciting card overall.
  6. Yes, please American fans don't let us down. The UFC should've picked up the Bob Sapp vs. Rolles Gracie match that happened a few weeks ago.
  7. This is going to be a good card, I can't wait.

  9. Lol @ Tavoris Cloud's mom passing out due to the sheer surprise of him winning.
  10. They really should make the Ellenberger/Condit rematch. GSP won't be ready to fight for over half a year.
  11. Definitely should've been, I guess it's only for PPVs
  12. Great fight, Sanchez came close to finishing him in Round 3, but I had the first two for Ellenberger.
  13. Good stoppage, he wasn't doing anything to escape mount.
  14. We can only hope so. An Ellenberger win (especially a stoppage) would really charge up the ww division even more than it already is.
  15. Looks like Paul Harris is getting another leg to take home: http://mmajunkie.com/news/27394/alan-belcher-vs-rousimar-palhares-added-to-ufc-on-fox-3.mma Assuming everyone stays healthy, this is going to be a very good free card.
  16. He's pretty lanky, if he could either get his boxing together or learn to use takedowns he'd be a much more dangerous fighter.
  17. Dana came out and said that he's up for a rematch if Condit & Diaz are.
  18. I've been a Nick Diaz fan for years now and I honestly don't think he'd make it out of round 1 with Anderson Silva. Anderson is bigger, faster, stronger and has better technique. Diaz isn't a threat to take him down and that's about the only place he could have a potential advantage...and I'm not even sure of that.
  19. Jesus Christ Anderson Silva might kill him.
  20. The takedown and back take was enough to warrant the 5th round to Diaz IMO. Taking the back is arguably the most dominant position on the ground.
