  1. Is it possible that we've somehow overrated Pride's talent? Just a question. Plus, we haven't seen Fedor fight over here yet so it's still hard to say. I think Randy vs. Fedor would come down to a decision.

Can't say that when Rampage is the champ. Fedor vs Randy might come to a decision but a unamious one for Fedor.

  2. The thing that got rampage that 2nd round was the fact that he got up from his back, like Chuck does when he is on the ground, you just couldn't keep him down.

So not only did he get up, he took Dan down and did more damage to Dan, than Dan did to Rampage.

I haven't seen the UFC do an 8/10 round, they may have, but I haven't noticed it.

    Marquardt vs Lister.

Marquardt by unanimous decision. The judges have it 30-27 & 30-25 x2.

Shamrock - Baroni if it went to decision.

  3. nate diaz is a bum. Cole looked pretty good however finishing off andy wang. I'll take penn in the second

Diaz looked like that against Gray. Take a pounding and catch a sub. I always predicted that Manny would win if it goes to decision.

Also like I said, Penn by any way he want. Pulver was at the end of his career and moving down a weight class. Compared to BJ coming down from 170 and still in the game.

  4. Its over Frank wins by rear naked choke. Put Baroni to sleep with about 40 left in the second.

Shamrock held that choke on too after it was over. Obvious bad blood. Exiting fight. This was way better than UFC72. Shamrock must have not been lying about being injured.

  5. Just a reminder in the middle of the Baroni/Shamrock discussion:

TUF 5 Finale' is on Saturday night at 9 on Spike TV. Should be a great night of fights. The two undercard fights I'll definitley be watching are Roger Huerta vs. Doug Evans & Floyd Sword vs. Thales Leites. Those 4 guys have some sweet records they're walking in with.

Of course, the Pulver/Penn rematch is going to be off the hook. Those two guys are all-out warriors. I think I'm gonna take Pulver, although they match up very well with each other. If B.J. gets him down again, I think Pulver is is trouble. No bell saving this time. But I believe Jens will nail him with some of those straight lefts and ring his bell before that happens. Should be very entertaining.

Baby Jay is winning this by any way he wants. Pulver got beat by Lauzon and his stand up game is suspect.

  6. - ROYCE GRACIE TESTS POSITIVE FOR STEROIDS (UPDATED)

    Thursday, June 14, 2007 - by MMAWeekly.com

The California State Athletic Commission yesterday released information verifying that former NFL star Johnnie Morton's pre-fight drug test had come back positive for elevated levels of testosterone.

Today, the CSAC released further test results revealing that Royce Gracie has tested positive for the anabolic steroid Nandrolone Metabolite. Gracie defeated Kazushi Sakuraba by unanimous decision at the K-1 Dynamite show on June 2nd.

Whatever roids Royce was on must be the worst ever. Wasn't this fight about bringing honor to the Gracie family?

  7. I was watching that too. Fisher beat his ass but either he has no power or Stout has a titanium jaw. Who was that brazilian dude that just beat the living crap out of the guy Joe described as "Abe Lincoln with rabies"? That guy looks like he could make some noise.

    Thiago Tavares

  8. UFC 71 = Meh. Only fight I'm looking fowars to is Rampage-Chuck. I'm still riding for Page

UFC 72 = Wack. How is Franklin-Kampmann a main event? That better be free since it's in Ireland.

UFC 73 = Awesome. 2 title fights, Big Nogs debut against Herring, and Tito-Rashad.

Seriously where the hell is Pride?
