  1. that fight did change my mind a little. i think Pettis has a much better shot against Edgar. i think Maynard will lay on him for 5 rounds

Totally agree. I wanna see Maynard lose so badly. Both Pettis & Henderson would give Edgar & Maynard great fights. I'd love to see Pettis kick Maynard's ass.

  2. Standing up, GSP has a huge advantage. On the ground, Kos can win. But that would require a LOT of work (and I don't mean mount & grind, but transitions and submission attempts) on the ground, or just getting that one lucky move in ala Fedor/Werdum. GSP can beat Kos straight up, but Kos can not beat GSP outright.

I like Mayhem a lot more, but I do not think he stands much of a chance if this fight happens.

I like Mayhem more too, but damn... Diaz is really good and this fight would be awesome to see. With all the trash talking, this has to happen.

Jose Aldo out of UFC 125

I hope this injury isn't serious or reoccurring

Ahhhh if his arms tingle, he should SWING them haha. I really hope it isn't a recurring injury either, and I hope it doesn't decrease his skill level... He's such an exciting fighter. The link says he will fight regardless.

  4. Have you lost your mind? After the ass whoopin AS took in his last fight how could you speak of such a thing? AS would get killed against the HW's in the UFC.

:ols: Definitely wasn't saying AS should fight in the HW division. I meant that Cain is a smart fighter with attributes that parallel AS's attributes in the MW division (aka being really freaking good at everything). He could have a championship reign similar to AS because I just don't see a heavyweight fighter out there right now who can compete with Cain, much how fighters can never compete with Anderson Silva (except for Sonnen... who was on drugs anyways).

  5. I'd be surprised if it was

UFC 100 had Lesnar & GSP, the 2 biggest draws on the same card.

Cain barely did 250k when he headlined the card with Nogueira. Cain's a beast, but I'm not sure how many casual fans know who he is. Big PPV #'s usually come from a greater amount of casual fans tuning in.

I think the card will break 1mil buys, but won't come close to the 1.7mil UFC 100 did

I totally forgot about 100, and yea I also think it'll break 1 million. Regardless, I'm excited!

  6. So I was watching mma knockout videos on youtube just now, and one of the highlights had the POV of the ref, he had a camera on him and it was such an AWESOME view. I don't know why that isn't more popular, putting a small camera somewhere on the ref so it's pointing and seeing what he's seeing, while not holding the ref back from making calls in the octagon and doing his job. The camera angle is so great, it gets right in the middle of the action very literally. The ref was running up to them when they went down for the ground and pound and you were standing right next to the action, it was an awesome feeling. Why doesn't this happen more often???????
