  1. http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/edgepittsburghstealer Pittsburgh Stealer By Craig Tello Written: May 8, 2007 PITTSBURGH—The Rated-R Superstar cashed in his newly acquired Money in the Bank title opportunity tonight and knocked the sports-entertainment world off its axis by becoming the new World Heavyweight Champion. Following a beastly, relentless attack from a returning Mark Henry, Edge picked the bones of a bloodied Undertaker to win the first World Heavyweight Championship of his career. With Edge’s nefarious, well-calculated triumph taking place at the close of Undertaker and Batista’s tumultuous caged war, the Steel City became the “Steal City” tonight. Though the night ended with an R-rated celebration, it was originally a night where the fate of the World Heavyweight Championship was to be decided within the merciless walls of a 15-foot high steel cage. For what seemed like an eternity of brutality, Undertaker and Batista took one another to their physical limits, as both warriors nearly exploded through the fortified steel. Beaten and barely able to stand, the challenger and the champion ultimately managed to somehow escape the cage at the exact same moment, ending the contest in a draw. Thus, the epic, four-month rivalry between The Phenom and The Animal – two of the most dominant competitors in SmackDown history – culminated with controversy and indecision, much similar to their fierce Last Man Standing Match at Backlash. Moments after Batista and The Deadman gave every last ounce of themselves in pursuit of the title, the unexpected sound of the World’s Strongest Man’s theme music rung throughout the Mellon Arena. At the end of one of the most savage Steel Cage Match in history, Henry nearly maimed The Phenom and left him a mess in the center of the ring. Only then, with the fallen gladiator ravaged, the Rated-R Superstar would come to claim his championship opportunity. Just 24 hours after shrewdly coaxing Mr. Kennedy into defending the Money in the Bank opportunity and seizing it on Raw, Edge defected to SmackDown at the most opportune moment. One spear and three counts of the referee’s hand later, it was New Year’s Revolution 2006 all over again. Yet again, Edge cashed in the Money in the Bank guarantee for a title match any time, any place, anywhere – this time for the World Heavyweight Championship. As an opportunistic Edge stood as the newly crowned bearer of SmackDown’s richest prize, the very landscape of sports-entertainment morphed to become Rated-R. See this chaotic confrontation between The Animal and The Deadman as well as the new champion’s vile, heinous master plan realized by tuning in Friday night, only on The CW Network. Edge is the new World Heavyweight Champion. 2. The Hardys should become the ECW Tag Team Champions. That would give ECW a legitimate Tag team to start with.
  3. Lashley won the cahe match in under 5 Mins. last night against Hardcore Holly. It looked like Vince and Umaga were trying to give the ECW title to Holly.
  4. This is a good class so far. The Nature Boy Ric Flair should be inducted. I don't think he has been inducted yet.
  5. The ECW originals did embarress Vince by Beating up Elijah Dukes. I wonder If The undertaker is trying to psyche out the Champions before making his choice?
  6. There does need to be more tag teams formed to make the Tag team division stronger.
  7. Cena is now the WWE champion and one half of the Tag Team champions with HBK. Jeff Hardy stays the Intercontinental Champion on a count out. It looks like the Undertaker wants Cena's WWE Title.
  8. HBK and Cena teaming up for the World Tag team Championship against RKO and Edge should be interesting. I would like to see HBK and Cena become the Champs. The Intercontinental Championship match with Hardy against Khali should be interesting as well. I liked the skit where Trump gave the fans cash.
  9. Did anyone see that The Big Show is taking time off. This according to ECW.Com
  10. How did Sting lose his title match? I wonder when he has his rematch?
  11. What about Cena joining DX as well. This would make Dx include HBK, HHH, Cena, The Hardys, Mickie James and Maria against the Faction of Edge, Randy Orton, Umaga, Johnny Nitro,The Masterpiece, Lita and Melina.
  12. Edge and Randy Orton stole the WorldTag team Championship Belts from Piper and Flair. Piper was ambushed before the Match started.
  13. Jeff Hardy regains his Intercontinental Championship title belt from Johnny Nitro.
  14. What happened on ECW Tuesday night? I tried to tape it but the station was not working and all i got was a blank screen.
  15. DX came into the ring to help Ric Flair get the win. Piper & Flair are still the new World Tag Team Champs on Raw.
  16. They have to defend their belts tonight in a no dq match against Edge and Randy Orton. Johnny Nitro has already defeated Jeff Hardy for the Intercontinental title.
  17. I like the Cena, Batista tagteam. They need to team them with DX as a group with maybe Beniot against the Edge, Orton,Booker and maybe Mr. Kennedy and maybe the Bigshow.
  18. This was a pretty good ladder match between RVD and the Big show. I hope RVD gets the contract.
