The Nope trailer is awesome. Shows a lot of exciting stuff but doesn't give anything away. Complete opposite of like say the Uncharted trailer which basically gives away the entire movie more or less.

I love the title lol...Jordan Peele finds the best ways of inserting black culture into traditionally non-black films.

Horror movie shows character going down into basement to check out a strange noise...every black person in the audience to themselves: "Nope. Uh-uh, nope."

I personally think hes a terrible back up. You have to change the entire offense to cater to his physical limitations. I think hes best served as a guy you pick up off the street and tell him to just go play ball. Exactly like he did against TB in the playoffs.

He went 7-8 last year as a starter…every team in the league would love to be able to do that with their backup QB. Hell, most fans love saying you want a backup QB who can come in for 2-3 games and keep the season from crashing.

That would probably attract a dangerous level of police attention.  They largely ignore shoplifting and petty theft.

When there are flash mobs of up to 80 people willing to use violence against employees that has even lead to deaths, they are probably past the point of caring about drawing police attention.

This is who I'm interested in. High second should give us a clean shot at most of them. I dont know how to scout guys like yall do, but I want a true centerfilding opportunistic FS that can get the guys in front of him lined up correctly and lock down that ****ty secondary thats wasting our kick ass front 4 that has almost 80 hurries this year.

I think they care that one of their 32 marquee franchises took a big swing and a miss. I think they care about the amateur effort that went into the “big” reveal. I don’t think they care about the name itself. I think they care about the optics of such poor execution on the behalf of the entire league and how emblematic is of the way the franchise is run.

If the NFL cared that much they would have stepped in to make sure the team wasn't hindered by trademark issues and would have helped in the reveal.

Here's what they do care about (or at least will pay attention to): merch sales, on-the-field results, if anything comes to light that directly ties Snyder to any illegal wrongdoing.

Merch sales will be a better indicator of rebrand success. On-the-field success is good for the league and is a fantastic cleanser. And any evidence of direct wrongdoing by Snyder lays a foundation for forcing him to sell the team and helps in any possible lawsuits against the league by Snyder himself. They already knew about everything in the rollout before the rollout took place.

I guess. Part of me wonders if the NFL is secretly mad the team botched the name change so badly and that’s the actual straw that broke the camels back. I doubt it but still, makes me wonder.

I think closer to the truth than most think. The idea that an NFL team can’t intimidate a small college or even an NBA team for trademarks is pretty ridiculous. Dans net worth is completely tied to the team. He has no significant capital otherwise. A lot of people thought giving Dan the waiver on debt was to support him, but might just be a good bet to sell the team more easily if the **** hits the fan, which, it officially has. Meanwhile the NFL is starting their Super Bowl weekend extravaganza and people are going to be talking about this ****-storm. Also not a good look for the other owners.

You guys really think the rest of the NFL gives a **** about "Redwolves"? lol...Come on, now.

I will say, though, that I also passed the thought around that the league letting Snyder buy out the minority owners could make it easier for him to sell the team and that played a role in the debt waiver.

Because the complaint isn’t against “business owners”

the complaint is against mega corporations that are abusing their power over the economy to get record profits, and they’re doing it during a world wide crisis.

    So?

I asked because I was curious what everyone's work/business experience was in association with their viewpoints on inflation.

I helped start a business that sells services and goods to the public.

im keenly aware of the running of the business and have/have had input, but it’s a bit easier when you don’t actually have skin the game.

how many giant corporations have you run?

Did I ask anyone if they ran a giant corporation? No. So why are you asking me if I have?

For the record, I ran my own management services business for about 3 years, had a little over $2M a year in contracts.
