It's alright, better than some of the NCAA games.
Beats pulling nose hairs and/or clipping toenails, IMO.
BTW, DC just lost. The Donkeys just got a FG as the game ended.

WTF happened to the game earlier.
I was watching it, they delayed the game because of lightening or some BS then Fox switched to the other game and never went back.
DAFUQ!!!

Lakers gonna lose.
LeBron just slipped in a puddle.

Glad to see the Lakers blow that big lead they had earlier.
Keep it up!

I don't know when being in the sec or competition in college mattered anyway. You could go back and see that many of the best QBs faced weaker competition.
Allen, Luck, Mahomes, Marino, Elway, Herbert. Lawrence played in the same conference as Maye, so did Watson. Many others as well
Fact is one played in an offense with some first rounders, the other didn't so it more than balances out.

But... Randall Cunningham famously didn't stay healthy. Injuries seriously hampered his career.
And Maye isn't immobile at all.
So this is a 💩 💩 💩 Comp.

JD has also played 55 games in college which is a lot compared to Lamar Jackson's 38
Between him, Nix, and PeNix, that is an entire NFL career worth of starts

You’re betting on 2023 Daniels and his continual improvement, those stats are over all years.
Over/under on sacks in 2024?
I'd bet 50+. Also 150+ runs.
All considering that he starts all 17 games
O/U on games started, I'll go with 10.
Thats a Lotta hits! Guaranteed he takes more hits than most RBs and his hits are Acme type 🧨 body parts all over the place hits
Dude is also a concussion waiting to happen, not just a regular injury.

If Daniels was exactly the same as he is now but Mayes size he would probably be battling for 1st overall and not talking himself out of the top three. Same if Maye had his speed. But what if Maye had Jaden's Mom?
He'd be Jaden Maye, packing large suitcases on 30min flights, dumped NC for Alabama, another 🏆 for Saban, Heisman, 0 skill at Top golf.

Its tough to answer because Brady as the college prospect was a late pick for a reason although there were signs, it was ALL intangibles with him as I think his 40 time and shuttle were all worst in combine history lol.
Brady's 40 was about 5.25
Slowest dude ever probably.

Everybody talking about sleep. I'd give it a try myself but got my parents driving down here to visit from Virginia. ETA, any time now.
Fun fun fun.... 3 days of old people in my house acting like I'm going to die before they are.

Jay is the biggest football related reason I checked out entirely. Not even him as much as the fact that Dan totally went against his first few years and just kept incompetent people years past the point it was clear they should have been fired.
I wanted Jay fired after his first Thursday game. Think it was wk3 lol.
After that he actually got better but no of that mattered with Doofus Dan and the 🤡 show.

I would tend to agree.
I'm not out here claiming he's some kind of scouting savant or something, but the "he's total trash" take is typical internet fodder
He's a former Arena Football MVP, not a scout, nor successful HC, probably not all his fault but I don't know why we'd spend time listening to his opinion on much of anything.
He's kind of funny sometimes. Maybe he'd be better at stand-up.

I remember when we were swarmed by Hawaiians! For a back up lol
No idea how a 6th rounder QB got so many fans online from Hawaii.
I think I was one of like 3 posters here that was talking about how much better Chase Daniel looked. Hell, he looked better than Jason🕯️

I live in quietest place ever in my life. It's a non-hoa neighborhood but we are at the back with 2 dead ends here and a forest behind. Perfect place even on top of hill and corner lot with an old hide-in-the-house single person as the one actual neighbor.
Still I stay up until 2-3 wake up at 7-9. I do have to take a nap or 2 during the day though while my wife is at work. Sleep has gotten weird. I have a bunch of prescriptions I'm supposed to take but I avoid them all except for the antibiotics that are required.

Yeah he's "prepared to go to Washington".
As if his parents married him off to a rich royal family in Pakistan and he has now finally accepted his fate.

What a disaster Zion turned out to be. That's at least 2 seasons that team had a good chance to do some damage but the dude is like Mr Glass.
Yes I know they won, but they aren't going anywhere.

^^^ The "Hardcore" made me crack up...those things are treacherous!
When I lived in Japan for 12-13 years just about every bar I ever went into had ONLY those things. I'd have gone home before swatting over one of those and they were dirty as hell too, for obvious reasons lol.

All the media guys are big mad today. Schefter’s fighting with McAfee, Breer is pissed about Vegas, Keim is salty as hell with people, and now Riddick tries to big boy this Twitter dude by pounding his chest about his knowledge of the “body of work” — and then conveniently providing one year’s worth of data out of a 5-year body of work.
They are frustrated by this Daniels situation. They think it should be a done deal.
I just want one of them to find a good comp for the guy besides Lamar Lite, which he really isn't. Hey, maybe he's the next Steve Young with better speed, but nobody is saying that. To me he's just as risky a pick as Justin Fields or RG3, who I was fine with drafting with a single first rounder.
Riddick can't be taken seriously. He's been more wrong on QBs than just about anyone that I've seen.
What’s the dumbest thing you’ve ever heard someone say in conversation?

When i was the department head on a small base in Japan around 1998 I was told in writing, then verbally upon questioning the order in multiple conversations that YES it is required to literally tag every single piece of electrical or electronic equipment, including fans, telephones, vacuum cleaners, battery wall clocks, coffee pots, as Y2K compliant.
Nope, Not A Joke. This was clearly meant for PCs (which was dumb in itself) but it was for anything electrical or electronic.
No amount of prodding for common sense would change a word of this order. Naturally, all of the people who would actually have to do this (lots of paperwork involved too) argued with me and informed me of how many hours of wasted time this would take. Yeah, I know but somebody might show up here and check our leaf blower, microwave, or our Techtronics signal generator, oscilloscope, fluke meters etc.
That Y2K thing was serious business! I can't imagine being in an actual warzone or on an Aircraft Carrier lol
