  1. Draft memory from 2012
We were in the hospital to deliver our 2nd child, Domenic.
I probably had 1-2 hours of half-rest in that chair, torture device, pullout thing they call a bed.
My son was 18 hours old, so he was still back and forth from screenings, bloodwork and all the other initial protocols.
Luckily I had a short window during the initial few draft picks while wifey was resting to get some pizza delivered to the room and take a breather without a nurse or screaming baby in the room.
It felt pretty serendipitous to welcome my first son while my favorite football team was ushering in a new era of Redskins football.
Short story long, my wife woke up to a room full of other new dads and nurses all hootin and hollerin at the TV. For a brief moment she thought my son had died and they brought the cavalry to deliver the news. I think it took her a good 10-15 seconds to figure out what was going on.
Worst moment of her life while I was having the time of my life LOL.
We still laugh about it to this day. She reminds me every year right around Domenic's birthday 😂
As we embark on this next version of the "team", I feel a similar yet very different type of ominous fortune about to bestow itself upon Washington.
We'll see how it plays out, but this feels like the right thing to do.

I said he’s the worst decision maker of the top four, which he is…but here you so go since you asked..straight from NFL.COM

Said an AFC executive: "He's got arm talent. He's fast. He is a smaller man, so you worry about the pounding. I don't think he's a good processor. [Though he] actually got a good S2 (cognitive test score); I'm surprised he took it because nobody's taking it. Look, I don't penalize him like a lot of people do -- 'Well, they only threw the ball f---ing eight times in this game.' They've done that forever. What I don't like is you can watch a play and you can tell, OK, they're going to this guy. And if the defense calls it, they've got it covered, he will f---ing wait and wait and wait and wait and start moving around and moving around and he is throwing it to that f---ing dude. You're like, Goddamn, look somewhere else! And he's athletic, so a lot of times he can do it. I think there's some miss factor, but there's some upside."

You should read up some more on the QBs this draft. There’s some good material out there.

can you point to where it says what you said?

    😂

Actually, no need to reply. Agree to disagree dude.

Me, I’m still glad Commander’s can pick their quarterback instead of having to sell the farm to trade up.🤷

We’re not going to know how he will pan out until a season at least.

    agreed 💯

I dont think there is any pressure from ownership to win now. Draft, develop and deal with the growth pains this season.
