Why did they trade him as a throw in with picks and players for the Vet Stafford? 7 years in the league and he finally arrived? Now back up to 30 td's with the Lions. How many thought Love was not going to make it as a difference maker in GB before the last half of this year and bust out? What year is it 4/5 for him? Did they build the team around Him? What about Goff how many thought he was a bust in L.A. before Detroit? Did they build the team around him? How come Stafford could not win anything in Detroit? But we are interested in his coach and the GM who has hit the draft big time with his picks. You could make a case for Building a team around a QB with good coaching. Goff talked before the game about how the coaches built his confidence back up. What's up with T.Lawerence the coaches they have? Loads of talent on the roster he trended down this year, mainly the second half after 3 years in the NFL? What about TUA, he has the most talent around him, is it the coaching? What about Young should you go back to the draft after 1year, discard Howell for the same reason? Coaches and roster build not the problem for them? I think with the right coach and the right team Build you can make it work. The Ravens, 49ers, Eagles make it work different QB's good team build and coaches different styles. Great QB's do not grow on tree's, what are the odds of getting one? Could the most important thing be the Coaches and build of the team? Nothing can be counted out.

I will say you are almost100% wrong about me. I have watched plenty of Lawarence and some think he is a superstar in the making, I do share that view or as reason why we should take a top 3 QB. Also a reason to get rid of Howell. I am not all Howell, I posted many of times Maye would be the only possible QB I would keep Howell for and that is iffy because of their friendship. I did want us to go with Howell this year instead of the castoffs of other teams. You would have to draft a second tier QB that fits the same as Howell for me to want to keep him. I defend him because he get's bashed often. I have more of a problem with blowing another top pick and if you put Lawerence or Tua out there for proof, I do not get it and cannot see it. Put Herbert, Stroud out there, have you ever seen me post negative about them, no because I would agree. I am not sold on you have to take a QB at top 3 just look where the top QB's were picked. Atlanta was getting slack for not drafting a QB instead of skill players, look at those 3 drafts, Stroud Is the only hit or Fields later. Falcons still have their 1st rd. pick for this year no.7 maybe it's the year they pick one. I like Harrison jr. as much as the QB's at 3. I against any trade up to no.1. If they pick a QB fine. Trade down I am fine. That's it. To me they are good takes to you they are not. Opinions that it just like we have choices.

Without WR T.Hill who got hurt late in the year, he is just average. QB's are not the only players that can make a team better. Lawerence is not making his team any better either at this point.

Stacey King hit on that one. Before the game I watched a interview with Stroud and he said, the QB's job is to make everybody around him better. The next Mahomes, they both have lot's of passion and leaders. Talent is not the only thing.

But you keep leaving out good QB's or no.1 picks here that did not put us over the top. 3 no.1 picks , Kirk, many quality FA's at times too, when we had quality lines, WR's,RB's. It's not a slam dunk that if you draft top 3 you get your man, stats back that up. Almost all starting QB's were drafted 6th pick and down. It's a risk either way. A no.2 pick if they are wrong is just going to be the same old. It's in the new GM's hands and I am on board for what ever they do. If it's a top 3 QB fine with me, not going to lose any sleep on the other hand if they do not. If it is a trade or trade down WR, what ever works. Keep your options open.

Anybody that uses that list get's nothing out of it. Maybe they need to stop using them, they are not setting the world on fire when it comes to picking the right QB.

What does the top list Mean, nothing I can see. Nothing but a fluff sat and was only put in their to make Howell look like the worst QB in the league. The bottom 2 lists I agree with ESPN 24 or so that's about right Howell, was better than a hand full of QB's.

Agree on style but friends? If you draft Daniels you need the same type QB , look at B-More they even had RG3 there. So you would have to trade Howell, cannot have to different play designs it would seem. I thought about that too, Howell the backup. You have the cap space and picks for the rebuild. no risk you know what your getting.

Redskins might have 2 less rings if it had not been for Casserly. Desmond Howard was pure Joe Gibbs Pick 2 no.1's traded up after SB win. Do not know about the other 2. It's Casserly's trades and player list's. that made him. Right side of D-line traded 2 second rd. picks to sure it up, traded for LT Lashay. Player list per B.B. strike season and SB was his. No this started with the 100% or Guarantee post's Maye is who you have to take. I said there are choices just make the right one and not just Maye at 100% and gave example's. Did we not strike out a couple other times? And we are talking about a pick worth the farm, so do not get locked in at 100% for 1 QB. That's it.

True they could have taken Stroud but they chose not too and it's remains to see if that was a mistake, but it was a choice. Houston it a homerun and if The Bears or Carolina picked Stroud maybe Houston passes on Young too. Many ways to go about the draft no 100% or Guarantee's it's the right choice. This all sounds just like the RG3 talk before the draft you have to get the top QB no other way, if he is there. How did that work out? The ball is in the Bears court they have the no.1 pick and so far looks like they made some good choices. Hope we do too.

You brought up GB, they have one of the best young teams in the NFL agree, Could they have traded up and took a shot at replacing Love when he was struggling? They did not and have a nice young team on the rise with the picks they saved. Chicago, could have taken a QB to replace Fields last year? May take one this year. It is like you say GM, Coach and the pick or choice are open. But May is not 100%. All options on the table, it could be Maye or.....
