Robert Kraft might have been targeted by Florida cops desperate to humiliate the Pats owner - all the b.s. printed about him being "potentially involved" with human trafficking were completely disproven, and his lawyers were able to prove the video surveillance was unwarranted ( the supposed human trafficking victim who "serviced" him was later indicted for tax evasion when agents found tens of thousands of dollars in cash she was stashing away). But even Kraft was smart enough to say nothing and avoid the spotlight until everything blew over. (no pun intended)

The dilemma we will ultimately be facing is likely this: One of the top QBs in the draft is likely to fall to us. If he looks like a winner, we probably won't have enough to go on to know if we should makes that pick, or fix one of our numerous glaring holes in the roster because we believe we already have the guy.

Any chance Jeff Saturday is looking for another interim HC job?

I just checked in here at 1:30am local time and I can't believe Dallas has scored 38 points when my prediction was only 37. Let's hope we score one more TD in garbage time so I at least come within a point of the final score.

I have spent the day so far on trains, but hope to soon be in Carcassonne where I will be wandering in the footsteps of medieval villagers. I would love to say I will be thinking about the Cowgirls game ...but I won't. Howell's progress is all I am still interested in this year.

The Arabs want nothing to do with Gaza. Israel under Ehud Barak asked Egypt if they would take over Gaza and install a new government, and Mubarak refused.

For those of you who thought the coaching staff might be in hot water after today's performance... surprise!

Can we please be done once and for all with Tanya Snyder's ****ing Steelers unis. It's bad enough we have a Taco Holder for our team logo.

Remember when Lord Farquaad said he had planned to hire a GM, but then decided the most successful teams were "coach-centric" as his excuse for repeating his usual pattern of handing over full personnel control to Rivera. This game is the perfect example of why that seldom works and why the disaster of the previous regime lay in its utter refusal to hire a qualified GM.
Thibodeaux is better than our waste of a #2 overall Chase Young ever was for us, and we passed on 2 franchise QBs to take him, despite already having 3 first rounders invested in the DL.
More inexcusably, Christian Darrisaw, whom PFF has rated as the top OT this year, was passed over for Jamin Davis. Davis is good, but not great. Darrisaw is elite at a more crucial position - one for which our deficiency was brutally exposed today. JOK, who went in the 2nd just after Cosmi, is probably as good as Davis.
There are certainly some bright spots like B Robinson and Howell, but the overall roster is poor, even after 4 years. Most of the draft has been spent on defense, and yet a rookie scrub QB just put up a 130 QBR against us.
Bienemy called a well-balanced game today - you can't blame him for RBs fumbling the ball. His one egregious blunder was waiting until late in the game to add in a TE to help block Thibodeaux - something he should have anticipated given how badly Thibodeaux abused our OL the last game.

Hopefully this isn't considered political, but I thought this was pretty cool - my sister posted an old family photo she had of my grandmother with Jackie O and Ladybird Johnson (my grandfather was a Republican senator at the time...how times have changed)

I watched a docu-drama on Hefner, and he was the guy responsible for introducing Aretha Franklin to a national audience. His show was dropped from channels in the South because he insisted on showing blacks and whites as social equals hanging out together. He refused to compromise his principles for a bigger audience. A lot of the most complimentary interviews about him were from people like Jesse Jackson.

Our newest family member Devito. Closest I could find to adopting a pug (I used to have 3 but the last one passed away a few months ago). He's a total cuddler.

I wouldn't mind Belichik as a team president to help Harris search for a GM and a coach. At this point in life I think he's more suited to that role.
If he does coach here, at least he would likely bring Josh McDaniels as OC. McDaniels is like Norvo the Clown - a terrible HC, but an excellent OC. He made even Mac Jones look good, and he sux.

Closest score.
I got the spread right though. You can argue 3 points off versus 4, but he went 1 over and 2 under leading to double the point differential, whereas I was +2 on both, nailing it.
