KevinthePRF
PC ignorant here searching for pc competent. I have some avi files I downloaded and wish to play. What and where is the best avi player I could download to play them? Not that they're bootleg Episode II files or anything... Absolutely useless movie trivia: E.T. had a hollywood couple casted but never seen in the movie. Harrison Ford and Mellisa Mathison(Ford's wife) both had parts filmed for the movie but both scenes ended up on the cutting room floor due to subpar performances. Die Hard
Kevin - Do you not have a Windows OS? Windows Media Player is more than adequate for viewing avi files. What more do you want?
KevinthePRF
Perhaps then DH I have an inadequate file. I have Windows Media Player and the file won't play on it. I get an error message by the player that says no combination of filters could be found. I thought I needed something else then. And to save the suggestion, Quicktime and Real Player is a no go as well.
Die Hard
Try downloading some divx codecs... the most recent being 5.0; there's also 4.22 and 3.11.
