Zen-like Todd
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A52726-2004Apr5.html The Washington Redskins signed linebacker Khary Campbell on Monday. Campbell spent last two seasons with the New York Jets, mostly as a reserve linebacker and special teams player. He started seven games in 2002 and three last year before being released five weeks into the 2003 season. Campbell, undrafted out of Bowling Green, attended last month's minicamp as a tryout player. The Redskins released defensive tackle Reggie McGrew.

bulldog
McGrew was unfortunate enough to have a death in the family the same week as camp Strange though that the Jets would have released Campbell so quickly after he had started a string of games for them. You would have thought at his salary he was good depth material off the bench? I wonder if he has some baggage we don't know about.
inmate running the asylum
Well at least Campbell has some starting experience. That's more then you can say about most of our other backup LB's. I would say that Reggie McGrew's career is now OFFICIALLY a bust. It's pretty bad when you get cut even before training camp opens.
