Alfred Morris Shows Versatility In 2015 Pro Bowl

Recommended Posts

I would love to see us pass on 1st down more, but to AM out of the back field. The impact of having what is perceived as a run only back catching passes will add another dimension. We set him up on some nice screens and he could really get some nice yardage.

It looks like we are going DL or OLB for our 1st rd pick. I have seen mocks that have us taking Collins (S) or Scherff (OT), but both would be a reach at #5. Unless we trade back, Scot M has been consistent in that he drafts best available, not for need.

I think we would all like a tade back, but you need a trading partner. Unless one of the 2 QBs fall to #5, I don't think anyone has a big enough need to want to trade. So I think we sit at #5. I like Dante Fowler (OLB - FL) right now but would not have a problem with the other guys, Shane Ray(DE - Missou) or Leonard Williams (DE - USC). Randy Gregory (OLB - NE) would be fine too.

This is gonna be a long process to fix this team. I am thinking, "Who might be worth having in four years?" Some guys will probably stay just because they don't have anyone else (if you look at the 'now').

But if you look towards the team in four years to the future, how many in the now will be or should be here then?

Starting at both offensive and defensive lineman, they live longer in the NFL than most other positions. It makes sense to get them first and fill in the other spots as they go.

Agreed GoSkins, BPA at #5 is probably a defensive guy like Ray or Gregory. I doubt Williams drops that far but he would be a steal @ the fifth pick.

The only draft trade candidate I can really think of would be Cleveland at the moment. They have a couple of extra draft picks and might want to reach up for a WR. Josh just got another 1 year suspension so that was pretty painful considering the rest of their receiving crew is not that good. Might have some other trade possibilities because the Skins could part with a WR and the Browns are desperate.

If you want to rebuild through the draft, well you need draft picks. The more the better. However you get them. And it might be painful now in terms of who might get traded but again I am thinking a few years down the road.
