Om
(No, this has nothing to do with that putz.) * Good news for some of our geographically challenged brethren. According to ESPN, the Skins v. Eagles game in 3 weeks (12/16) has been moved from 1:00 to 4:15pm EST. My guess is this makes said game the national FOX game, complete with Madden/Summerall and full-scale pregame hype. It would seem the NFL would like to showcase a certain resurgent, coming team facing off with a preseason darling, presumably with first place in the NFC East at stake. Sweet. Very sweet. NavyDave
If the Eagles lose tonite and or the following week I dont think Fatten and Slumberall will be at the game but I would like the to see it
Terry
It kinda makes up for being dropped from the ESPN Sunday night game to a mere regional game for the stinking world series. But ESPN still owes us for that.
TennesseeCarl
The real insult to watch out for is when the league assigns you the bye week in Week 1. Cards got it this year. I wish I could see a game at home rather than in a sports bar. It'd be nice to get some audio (here the Titans game always gets first priority) and not have to order Mulligan's lame food. RySkins
This is good news to me. As a season ticket holder, the trend I have noticed is that the later the game, the louder the crowd.
Tom [Giants fan]
TennesseeCarl, With Houston coming in next year and there being 32 teams, there probably won't be any first week byes. My guess is they are going to go back to giving 4-6 teams a bye per week. This will probably mean there will be byes from week 3 or 4 until about week 10 or so. No more first week or last week byes. Thankfully!!
jonjeff
We still have a Sunday nighter against the Saints don't we? The night before New Years Eve if I'm not mistaken. The Eagle game time change is great. Late games in Washington seem to bring out the best in the Skins.
RySkins
Yeah jonjeff, I'm pretty certain that we haven't lost a 4:00 game at JKC Stadium/FedEX Field.
OrangeSkin
I would love it if this game was the Monday nighter, instead of the first one. Then a national audience could check us out firsthand.
Pete
Sounds to good to be true. I'll start praying to the program gods now, and with any luck the FBIB's will pick up a late game. This week, they feed me the Rams Falcons game. ------------------ Steal your face right off your head
indyskinsfan
Same here Pete. Otherwise, the Colts or Bears (the ones they show, make me sleepy). I really get sick of hearing "London Fletcher" this and London Fletcher that, MF please!
CBMGreatOne
When did that time move? I remember it being listed at 4 o'clock as early as four weeks ago. I scheduled stuff around it, as any fan would.
CBMGreatOne
My bad, that was ARZ on the 9th
RF4L
I've got the very same problem up here in Tally-land, Pete. Always the falcons or the bucs. I WILL, however, be taking up residence at a local sports pub for this one. I've got a strong feeling that the Dallas win streak ends on Sunday.
