I am working on getting a transcript of the interview but for those of you who didnt hear it, I found it so hard to believe that he did not have a clue who Jose Padilla is? They asked him several times about him and he could not even figure out who he was. They used statements like the "Dirty Bomber" and "The guy that was going to use a dirty bomb to blow up several of our buildings" and he still remained clueless. Is this guy (Chris Matthews) credible? In my perspective no he is not, the Jose'Padilla story is a huge story, how could we trust what he is saying if he knows nothing about what has been a headline for some time now? especially yesterday. :puke: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Where you ask could they find such a combination of a guy who isn't informed of the facts, likes to hear himself talk, and an insipid desire to suck up to power brokers on both sides of the political spectrum? Congress. Chris Matthews is a career congressional staffer... I think they should call his show Softball with Chriss Matthews. I lost all faith in the guy when he had Jack Kemp on his MSNBC talkshow a few years back. Kemp used to be a favorite of mine. I was really pissed when he sold out all his values and took a job on the board of directors of Proxicon and Oracle and then went on the talkshow curcuit saying America needed to import more cheap foreign engineers because there weren't enough in America to handle all the work..... Chriss Matthews kissed his butt for an hour and sent him on his way. I almost flew through the TV and smacked them both around. I would have asked Kemp.... Mr. Kemp if we don't have enough engineers/computer scientists why are engineers unemployment rate almost twice the national average? Mr. Kemp why are engineers/computer scientists over the age of 40 likely to seek employment in a different field? Mr. Kemp if we don't have enough engineers/computer scientists why are new graduates in engineering more likely to find work in sales rather than performing engineering tasks? Mr Kemp if the motivation for importing these folks into the country is a shortage why is their immigration status tied to their job? Why are they locked in at 30-50% of what a domestic entry level engineer/computer scientist makes? Where is the protection for the domestic workforce from flooding the marketplace with now more than a million of these low priced indentured workers who are by law unable to seek raises or rights. Mr Kemp as a long time conservative what happens when the government performs micro enconomic tampering in markets? What happens when you lower the price of something that is already in short supply... American engineers/computer scientists... ( you get fewer of them, fewer kids going into the feild. ) Mr Kemp when exactly was it that you sold out all your values and became a whore for big business to line your own pockets? scumbag... I also asked him that since they are interviewing Chris Matthews who has an obvious left sided slant that wouldnt it be fair to interview someone with a right sided slant? His reply was that "we have the Governer of Maryland on every month". I have heard the goverener and he talks about the slot issues and issues of Maryland etc... and doesnt put a slant on his message any where near to what Chris MAthhews did this morning. I'm gonna post some info about our new most wanted terrorists believed to be in the US and how they were at a canadian college to learn about nuclear power and get access to a nuke facility. He is just as bad, and obnoxious, as Bill O'Reilly in this regards. Of course, in any discourse, there is a certain give and take in the flow of a conversation, but he simply downright rude at times.
