It flew over at about 2,000 feet more or less. It was crazy close and a nice thank you to the area from NASA. We hosted the WSMR Shuttle Astronaut Training Facility, a NASA test site and the Shuttle landed here in the 80's when I was a kid. Very cool day! I saw it twice, last November and last month when it was sitting in the VAB- Vehicle Assembly Building at Kennedy Space Center.
