I have two season tickets this year that I am trying to sell.

The breakdown is as follows:

My Season Ticket cost : $70.40 x 10 games = $1408

I am selling the package for $1200

The buyer will have the right of first refusal to any playoff tickets associated with said seats this coming season.

My Season Ticket cost : $70.40 x 2 tickets x 10 games x 1.1(10% tax)= $1548.80.

I will throw in the 4 preseason tickets for free!

lol

We've got a few problems here, bro.

Your calculations are a mess. Here are the actual facts:

$70.40 is the cost of each ticket including tax. So you can't add 10% tax to that again and tell people that's your cost.

The truth is (assuming you are in the back corner in the first fifteen rows), your cost, as printed on each ticket, is $64 plus tax. So for the pair of season tickets, the cost is

$70.40 x 2 tickets x 10 games

Period. There is no tax added to that.
