FedExFielder
Hey guys, I know to some of you this may not even be a speedbump for your extremeskins experience but I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm taking a short break. I just lost my Grandpa today and he was the only father figure I had when I was a little kid. Taught me everything I know today. I guess now that he's gone and my grandma has been for two years now that there's just a piece of me missing, essentially my childhood. Last night I just got in my car and drove, before I went to the casino of all places. I needed somewhere to distract me, I even saw Epic Movie (worst movie I've ever seen) at 10:00 pm. I didn't tell my roommates where I was or when I'd be back and I plan on doing the same tonight, I just feel empty. If anyone has any advice on how to deal with grieving it would be greatly appreciated, lord knows I need it. As for my mock draft guys, thank you for your concerns, it means a lot to me. I hope to return soon, but I don't know when it will be. Thanks to all of you guys, you're the best. -FEF
Redskins Diehard
I lost my father a little over a year ago. It was a crushing experience but I can tell you that it gets better with time. Certain times are more difficult than others but life goes on(I know that is how he would have wanted me to proceed). Know that it is supposed to hurt, and that it will get better. rictus58
The best I can tell you is to not supress your feelings. Somehow, one way or another, they will come out. It's best to let that happen now.
TD_washingtonredskins
Allow yourself to grieve and let your friends in...it does help! You might cry in front of them and you might not be fully comfortble with that. But sharing your grief with others and having people there who will listen to you is very helpful! I'm sorry for your loss.
