bulldog
I think everyone's comments underline that the Duckett trade is looked at as a transaction to help the football team win games. Any other inference is counter-productive for coaches and players. In 1991 Gibbs and the Redskins went out and made a late deal to acquire DT Eric Williams from the Detroit Lions to beef up their run support. Certainly, that caused some dislocations on the DL among players that were expecting to see more time, especially #1 pick Bobby Wilson and veteran Jumpy Geathers. But no one allowed this to derail the team or cause dissension. Both Geathers and Wilson made major contributions to the team in winning the Super Bowl in Minneapolis. PCS
I think Mark Brunell talks too much. Needs to let someone else speak for a change.
