bsmsss Posted May 16, 2002 Share Posted May 16, 2002 everyone is panic over getting a guard--i agree-but the skins have 4 young lineman who may just need a chance to play--who knows if brandt,tucker,sulstead,loverne can play--all 4 havent gotten a chance--i bet one will become a very very good lineman--heck who was joe jacoby until he got his chance--who was tom brady before he got his chance-- i would rather have these 4 battle it out for a starting job then sign a glenn parker or ray brown--these 4 are younger cheaper and might in time be better-- give them a chance- Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Last year Brandt who is a natural center was inserted at guard during a couple of games and the reviews were mixed until he had an injury. He is up to I believe 311 lbs and could ve worked on his nastiness with fellow alum Rock Jansen which would be nice to have on that side with Samuels. Tucker is a Tackle so moving him inside can to an extent whatever flaws he has outside. But I heard he is a nice prospect. Loverne is supposed to be a backup more than a starter right?
