I heard Wally Bruckner call him Antwan a few times this past Saturday. I'm only the most casual 'Zards fan and I am atleast aware of the dudes name. He an All-Star forchrissakes. Skinned Posted February 14, 2005 Share Posted February 14, 2005 On the same subject, it is one of my pet peeves when Sports anchors can't pronounce the names of pro athletes. It's their job!!! I used to intern at Channel 9 WUSA in the sports dept with Warner Wolf (back in the early 90's) and he would mess up so many freaking names! It drove me nuts!! I could never understand how these guys aren't familiar with how to say players names. I can understand errors with some of the foreign names, but it is sad how many names get mangled. It's one thing if a letter is silent or if it's jacked-up to begin with like Favre. However, if it's supposed to be Antwan, then spell it Antwan or maybe even Antjuan...
