goldenster95
An interesting observation from the ESPN boards . . . I was watching the charger chiefs game today and the announcers were talking about Philip rivers and his developement. THey said it takes about 32 starts for an NFL qb to get used to, and comfortable with playing in the NFL and THEN you can see him produce good numbers. Examples: Drew Brees: started his 32nd game in week 5 vs JAX. had a great game and is now an MVP candidate. Trent green: didn't get his 32nd start till his 8th year. Is one of the best in the league. Now with this theory on the table I have to say that maybe we need to give ramsey a chance. Hes played what. 6 games his rookie year.about 7 or 8 last year. and about the same number this year. So we can guestimate that hes at around 20ish or so starts. SO... By the mid point or the end of next year we should see the real Ramsey and if he is the QB of the future. The 32 start system seems to tell the truth. SO keep hope alive. Next year guys. Hail skins
TankRizzo
Is it too late to go out and sign Shuler? He only has 3 games to go! :doh1: :dunce:
Skeletor The Invincible
I agree. Most QBs need time.
D'Pablo
Schuler had potential only to be limited by injuries... Who knows, maybe that bum could've made something of himself...

Warhead36
Steve Young said it best. Every 20 games a QB improves. We're seeing improvement from Ramsey. I think by around Thanksgiving next year our offense with Ramsey will hit full stride.
OWUeagleMD
Something tells me the NY fans aren't going to be patient enough to allow Eli to reach 32 starts. I love hvaing one team in the division hampered by the most over-reactionary media in the world.
