Brave
Have to admit I'm kind of glad about that. I guess they'll get one of the big DTs. There is still time for Jerry to pull a Jerry, though.
Guest Goatroper
Aw, heck. Guess we'll have to settle for Roy Williams at 8, plus pick up the 75 pick (and a 6th rounder next year) for dropping two slots. I can live with it. Too bad Jammer is wasted on Schottenheimer, though.
Blade
That was a very nice move for the Pokes... nabbing an extra 3rd plus getting his guy was smart. Too bad the Vikings werent smart enough to sneak in after the Pokes blew the clock
Brave
Yup ... an excellent move by the Pokes and a curious one by the Chiefs. Why in the world give up two picks, one a 3rd, for a DT when there are DTs ALL OVER THE BOARD? Is Sims really THAT much better than the other of the "big 4?" I don't get it. Hope Jerry blows the extra riches. Williams wasn't a bad pick even though that's high for a safety. He is suposed to be pretty special.
Nerm
I dont think Dallas will go DT at all in this draft. They have Glover, their two starters from last year, and 3 draft picks they got last year, two of whom have not been evaluated yet, the other (Nix) played better than expected. Nix was the guy who stripped S. Davis in the 4th qtr last year.
