Mr. S Posted October 11, 2004 Share Posted October 11, 2004 as I watched the game yesterday, the first half was just insane, we were winning 10-3, we had 3 INT's, the defense had literally stuffed the great Jamal Lewis. Our offense was getting no where, but the prospects looked good for a win. If not for their defense and special teams, they woulda lost. Now I want to lighten the mood here, imagine this, a season and a half from now, Joe Gibbs runs out on the field, 5th Super Bowl appearance ever. And all we hear the band doing the whole time is playing: Hail to the Redskins! Hail Victory! Braves on the Warpath! Fight for old D.C.! Run or pass and score -- we want a lot more! Beat 'em, Swamp 'em, Touchdown! -- Let the points soar! Fight on, fight on 'Til you have won Sons of Wash-ing-ton. Rah!, Rah!, Rah! Hail to the Redskins! Hail Victory! Braves on the Warpath! Fight for old D.C.! Im only becoming more of a die hard redskins fan as I grow older, I want to join the band eventually, I will never give up on my team and will not take any guff from you swine who do.
