panthro
Heard on the replay on NFL Network today (from good ole Frank Herzog), that Gibbs has hired a guy who used to be a replay official to sit up in the coaches' booth this season and advise him on whether or not to throw the red flag. According to Frank, there is no other team that has done this. Is that great or what?! :notworthy On another note, how awesome was it to have Frank in the booth for the game? One more time... Although in the postgame show, he refused to do the "Touchdown, Washington Redskins!" He said, "That era is over!"
jimster
actually that was out a month or so ago, but I heard Herzog talking about it too. I can see this being another trend-setter
spanishomelette
Yep, Gibbs hired one early on. If every team hired replay officials, would there be any decent ones left for the NFL? I bet this guy makes more on the Redskin's payroll.
Parlett316
This is all about Gibb's, "Hire the best people" mantra.
