Mr. S
I have been offered William Green, RB of Cleveland and Shockey, for C. Brown, RB of Ten and B. Miller, TE of Houston. I know Shockey would be a definite plus and I certainly would want him, but Brown may be the starter in Tennessee, while Green will only be a backup. RB wise, I have Portis starting, T. Wheatley, and Otis Smith behind Brown. Betts is my bench guy. Is this worth doing, this is a total points league.
PersonsFan
Don't do it. Shockey is a huge injury risk and Green's job is up in the air; meanwhile, Brown may very well get 250 carries this year, and even if Smith cuts into Brown's carries it seems Brown will get the goal line work. Besides, suppose Green does get his off-field worries squared away... then at best he splits carries with Suggs. As for TE, Miller isn't great, but I'd go for a likely FA pickup like Antonio Gates, Daniel Graham, etc. rather than roll the dice on Shockey's feet (and hands, heh). Taylor Made
Thats pretty tough, thats a HUGE TE upgrade, but your RB situation would be hurting even worse than it is now.
cphil006
You already have a RB, so William Green will be second string...He may end up starting over Lee Suggs. Do it, the TE upgrade is huge...
SkinFaninOKC
Don't do it. Chris Brown is a risk worth taking. As far as the TE, you could do much better. Of course seeing as how you ended up with Billy Miller there isn't much else out there. Good luck with Miller.
redman
Chris Brown as a 2nd RB is excellent. Miller is a decent TE and Shockey's banged up and has yet to reach his potential, so stick with what you have or ask for more.
Mr. S
oh, forgot to mention, I also have Alge Crumpler as my starting TE, but since its a points system, 2 strong TE's would get me a lot more points.
