Pete
Try sports in Florida, it rains almost every day this time of the year. I would think that pro football players could practice in the rain if my 11 and 12 year old girls soccer team can. If there's no thunder, lightning, and the ball doesn't float......we play
SlinginSammy HOF '63
Practicing in Southern Illinois sucks this time of year. It's usually 100 degrees and the ground is hard as a rock from being dry.
Octane67
Cleats come in four sizes: 1/2 inch (at the start of the season on dry fields) 3/8 inch (for normal field conditions once fields have been used in several games) 3/4 inch (for wet or soft fields) 1 inch (for extreme cases -- think Lambeau Field and the "Frozen Tundra" game) Prepare for everthing... Leave nothing to chance !! :2cents:

Leave nothing to chance !! :2cents: I am sure you meant well, but if they wore one inch cleats on the "frozen tundra" they would have been falling all over the place. Actually, most of the players wore sneakers that game...look it up!
