hobbs Posted August 3, 2004 Share Posted August 3, 2004 Mickey: Tuesday AM report: * Larry Allen is participating in 100% of the practicies and not slacking... * Signs point to no power struggle between LA & BP... * Miller said that an inside source told him they think Henson looks the best of the 4 and Romo sits to pee may be looking for a job soon... * Mickey agreed that Henson is looking good... * Hutch never looked as good as Henson does... * Henson's advantage over Q is his quick release... he does not have to step into the 25 yard throw... he just flings it out there at high velocity... * TNew told Mickey he will do whatever he is told and wants more plays... * TNew wants to return punts kickoffs and play WR... * TNew said he should be doing more for the team since they are paying him so much money... * They worked on the 3-4 a bit more yesterday... they are using Kalen Thornton at LB in this formation... * Shanle has really caught BP's eye... * The Patriots do a bit of switching between 4-3/3-4... * Ryan Fowler from Duke is gonna get a workout (signed right after the draft)... he had a herniated disc... considered a very tough, intelligent player... a bit undersized... * Dan Campbell has a little bit of a cartlidge problem in his right knee... he has gone down every practice and has needed attention... he does get right back up and refuses to go out... And from Mullet: - dunham and miller (one of the two) said he had taked to an 'insider' who said henson has looked like the best QB, and that Romo sits to pee looked like ***. Mickey semi-confirmed. said henson has looked the part. and agreed that Romo sits to pee has been awful. - any worries about henson's delivery seem to be unfounded. mickey said he has worked on it, and the delivery is fast. - campbell has some knee cartiledge issue. really the only injury. - newman is volunteering for more duties.... returner, WR - whatever they will let him do. he wants to do more to earn his check.
