Oldskool
Browns | Exploring Other Options; Shifting Trade Talks To Oakland - from www.KFFL.com Fri, 23 Apr 2004 09:29:47 -0700 Tony Grossi, of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, reports the Cleveland Browns are exploring other trade options after they were told the San Diego Chargers are unwilling to drop from the No. 1 overall spot to No. 7 in the April 24-25 NFL Draft. The Chargers are more likely to swap spots with the New York Giants, who have the No. 4 overall pick, sources believe. The Browns have shifted their trade talk to the Oakland Raiders, who hold the No. 2 overall pick. The Browns believe Raiders owner Al Davis would take NFL draft prospect OT Robert Gallery (Iowa) if Oakland stays at No. 2, but Davis is listening to trade offers.
