ESPN Nation Top 25 Players All-Time

Bruce Smith does deserve to be on that list...when he was in Buffalo he was one of the most dominant players in the game. You don't end up holding the all-time NFL sack record despite playing the majority of your career in a 3-4 scheme without being a serious talent.

But Darrell Green needs to get in there, and he's not going to get any help from non-Redskin fans. So, everyone get in there and vote.

Jim Brown has to be #1 all-time.In only nine, twelve game seasons he rushed for over 12,000 yds. Averaged 5 yds per carry for his career. He retired at the top of his game.If he had played 2-3 more seasons,he might still be holding the record today. Just look how many years it took Payton to break Brown's record. And that's with 4 more games per season.

I agree, Jim Brown was one dominant player and retired at the top of his game. You have guys like Dickerson,Payton,Sayers,Emmitt,Sanders and yes O.J. but Jim Brown was the real deal and was one unstoppable force running the ball. He had Speed,Quickness, power,Agility and any other thing you want to add to that list. But in a nutshell Jim Brown was the total package.

Unfortunately, I never got a chance to see him play:D But by watching game film of older games and NFL classics. Jim Brown was one bad Mutha Rucker with the ball in his hands.

Jim Brown #1

Maybe we ought to start our own thead and have our own contest on who we think is ranked in what order.

For #2, it's a toss-up IMO maybe Bart Starr/Montana or someone else, not to sure. BUT IMO, Jim Brown is defintely #1
