GURU
I think it's interesting that everyone simply assumes Gibbs will return to his single-back, 2-tight-end, smash-mouth Redskins' offense from the '80s. Considering the current state of the Skins backfield, the fact that he has a young, gun-slinging QB, and that Kellen Winslow Jr. might be sitting there with the 5th pick in the draft, HAS IT OCCURRED TO ANYONE THAT HIS OFFENSE MIGHT RESEMBLE THE ONE FROM HIS AIR CORYELL DAYS????????? Maybe Gibbs offense in '04 might look more like the Chargers offense in '79, with Dan Fouts, Kellen Winslow Sr, and John Jefferson. That trio seems more similar to Ramsey, Coles, and possbily Winslow Jr than any combination during Gibbs' years with the Skins. Thoughts?

TD_washingtonredskins
I guess that's the beauty of this move in our minds. Whoever ends up being on our squad next year, Gibbs will find some type of offense to run to suit their strengths.

milliondollarslim
the important thing is that he will not serve his QB up to the defense like so much raw meat. players won't be allowed to make repeated mental errors and continue to get playing time "because we don't have anyone else to put in there"!!!!! freakofthesouth
As it was mentioned before... 'Gibbs can do it all.' Run-heavy? Pass-happy? Howabout both.

SkinsThug
I think Gibbs will adjust to what is most effective against his opponents, particularly within the division. You have to win in the division.
