Like Casserly, Skip started out as a 17-year-old volunteer some years ago, cleaning the grounds for free. Skip worked his way up to Janitor at Redskin Park by the age of 20. Over the years to follow, he gained valuable insight by walking in on team meetings and management meetings, to empty the trash cans. He used that to his advantage by listening in on conversations, while pretending to concentrate on the "trash at hand". In addition to the nuggets he heard thru his ears, he also gained a wealth of knowledge from all the crumpled documents that he found in the cans, that he secretly unfolded and studied by the burning candle each night (apparently this was before the emergence of the paper shredder). Legend has it, that not only does he possess this great storehouse of information and knowledge, but he has a tremendous natural IQ, apparently hoarding most of the intelligence genes in the Casserly family tree. Now, Skip is waiting in the wings to be our next GM. He is Redskin Park's best kept secret. Until now. We may have to look no further than our own backyard, so to speak, for our next GM.
